also for me the biggest red flag is that he is doing this whole thing for content, he makes money from it, which means he is incentivized to generate the biggest and most spectacular drama possible at any cost to maximize views and engagement

Not that odd to me. Has this hit the main stream news? Nope. Then coming out and making any kind of a statement only serves to get you to repeat their accusation to YOUR audience for them.

The same trick is used when people accuse people of being racist or sexist or a nazi. If you run off half cocked spending 30 minutes to an hour or the next few day trying to tell everyone how NOT racist or NOT sexist or NOT nazi, you are spreading their message for them and planting the seed in everyone else's head.

I can see some lawyers maybe making a statement if some main stream news outlet requests comment.

And what kind of a comment could be made?

"Our client went on an ADULT dating website for ADULTS only. Our client was later assaulted while meeting an ADULT woman, whom the perpetrators falsely CLAIMED this adult woman was his daughter and falsely CLAIMED she was 15 when clearly she was not. They then used this pretext to intimidate, assault, and chase our client. By all appearances this was some sort of setup and black mail scam, the type you only see in third world countries. Our client was terrified. These perpetrators have a history of setting up members of the public for their prank channel and as a pretext to beat and assault others. These perpetrators have been reported to the police and our client seeks justice."
