Seriously though, he needs to take a fucking hint. We're not the media, we're not reporters, we're not a paparazzi. Everyone, from Tumblr to Twitter, from 8-Chan to here, is involved on their own merits. Maybe the idea of people having their own different reasons to criticize you scares you, Jerry, because it's random and uncontrolled, but this is in fact the case.

Here's an idea, how about just like Jerry's fangirls are explaining exactly what brought them to him and why they love him so, why don't we talk about exactly what brought us to discover and hate Jerry?

I figure it'll spark some discussions and show the Jerry-lovers that venture here exactly why we have such a disdain for him.

So I remember finding his Top 10 and In a Minute videos back when I was a cringy MLP fan. (Dark times, I don't like to talk about it.) I took quite a liking to them. I liked listening to him. I never took a look at his Glass of Water videos. Then, I started to follow him on Tumblr checking his blog from time to time, even asked him a thing or two (none of which seemed to have made it on the /cow/ threads, heh). Then, well, remember that time he said that sexual dimorphism was obsolete because technology, modern culture, and evolution prove it wrong (While the first two have nothing to do with basic biology and evolution actually proves that there is a dichotomy between men and women) and then said that anyone who brings up sexual dimorphism was about to ’bring up some misogynistic bullshit’ (somewhere in the first five minutes of his Free Speech 3AM Ramble video) and never proved why? Literally only walking into the argument (implying there even is one), screaming misogyny, and leaving without a trace? THAT is when I realized he was really off the deep end, and I went to unfollow him completely a while later. A few months later, I got bored and looked him up, which is when I found out that he was calling himself 'Lily', at which point I found his ED article and found out he was a pedophile, sockpuppeteer, and all around crazed SJW. That's also around the time I found the /cow/ threads and started to follow them from time to time. I didn't really become involved in the discussions about him until the Josh drama went on. Now, just like what X said, it's a fun pastime to see all of the ridiculous things he says and make fun of them.

TL;DR I liked him until he ignored that fact that sexual dimorphism says that men are stronger than women, biologically. Men and women have differences, and Jerry doesn’t quite like that. Found his ED article and found out all of the shit about him.

They're not smart enough to debunk Josh, they're not clever enough to twist the scenario into a positive outcome, and they're not independent enough to dig into ways that would be more helpful to Jerry than just "Oh but I like you."

That's why he's responded to all the feedback he's been given. It's his way of saying, "See??? People care about me!!! Stop being mean to me, Josh is just a Nazi! Right guys? He's evil, right??? I'm right and these posts about people blindly saying they like me prove I'm right!"

Conversely, Josh has not done this. He doesn't need to put his audience on a pedestal like Jerry is doing. He got his point across, he apologized to Jerry for their friendship ending, and he walked away deciding to leave it at that and hasn't mentioned it since. His fans are discussing their own stories about Jerry, most of Josh's circle of friends are reblogging his story, etc.

It's perfectly clear who exactly it is that wins this, the only way anyone could take Jerry's side is if they were a drone who couldn't think for themselves in the first place. Hell, Xian said he agrees with Jerry way more than he does Josh most of the time, and he still sided with Josh.

I think it did exactly what it needed too. Jerry is a master class narcissist, the fact he made the Josh video at all is proof of that. He was waiting for any chance to tear Josh down to lessen the rejection he went through, and when he couldn't find one he made one. Maybe it kickstarted his hugbox but the blow was dealt and now there's venom in his veins. It's going to spread through his heart and his brain until he implodes again, and with greater frequency. Eventually he's going to tear through his own hugbox.

Don't get me wrong, Josh's video was great, and likely woke a lot of people up, but I suppose my expectations for the fallout were a little higher. And I'd be lying if I said that I expected Jerry's fans to coddle him the way they did.

But you're right, chances are, Jerry might say something even more risqué and might cause even more of a happening.

The people down over at Derpibooru are suggesting contacting Silver Quill or Dr. Wolf (two brony analysts that Jerry apparently has high respect for) in order to ask them to make a video or something on Jerry and the shit he's been doing for the past few months.

I did tell them that it wouldn't be too smart, when you consider Jerry's attitude toward criticism of any kind. Granted, criticism coming from people he respects MIGHT yield change, but given Jerry’s nature, I HIGHLY doubt it.

He’d probably call any criticism of him abuse and use the fact that they’re siding with Josh to call them Right-wing Nazi extremists and break off with them.

It would probably end up with his fans coddling him some more while he resorts to the classic "Everyone I don’t like is Hitler" position.
It’s a great idea in theory until you consider Jerry’s attitude towards any kind of criticism, valid or not.

But at the same time, it'd probably be worth it in a way such that Jerry feels he's been betrayed by some more people he actually likes and respects.
