Is it possible that this troon begged the surgeon to do a rhinoplasty and now later finding that the “complications” are something unavoidable, has decided that they didn’t “consent” in the first place?
He may also want his records to be altered to reflect his change in consent and that is why she, the surgeon, is refusing to release them.

Someone else mentioned that you can “correct mistakes on your medical record”, so that is what is making me wonder this.

He tweeted a while back about still being upset about not being allowed to ring his mother from school whenever he wanted to.

That really is something else. I don’t recall a single child in all of my time at school having such a need satisfied.
If other people can say there was at least one kid who got this, then fine, but I really don’t think so.
One of the most important things one learns at school is how to be ok with being away from your parents for a few hours in a day.

It’s like, I can often tell people who either were homeschooled or just didn’t go to school for other reasons. People like this are known to have some problems with the unspoken compromises of operating in society.
Especially where it comes to having to deal with boring chores, situations which are imposed, but most of all, how to deal with people you don’t especially like but have to put up with.

Kevin seems like this, even though he appears to have gone to school, and even certainly spent time at a college.
Still unclear as to whether he studied or worked there however.
School is not just about learning the subjects taught in the structured curriculum.
It’s also about teaching how to function in society and that you can’t entirely control whom has an influence on your life.

I don't want to go too far off the topic of Kevin but a relative of mine wants to homeschool his only child, his wife is going to be a SAHM, and he's looking for property in a rural area.

This to me rings all the alarm bells for raising a very naive child.

I don't want to sound like an asshole here, but I think having to deal with adults and other people in authority who don't like you and don't have your best interests in mind is essential for raising someone who's not a dupe. Even adults who do like you and do have your best interests in mind can sometimes require a lot of social skills to negotiate.

Of the three people I know who were homeschooled, two of them would get right in the candy van, no questions.
