Another victim of his was a 15-year-old high school girl, with whom he engaged in child prostitution for over two years, sending her 20,000 yen each time in return for sexual favors.

The police revealed they identified the victims through the images on his smartphone. The producer has been arrested thrice till now on suspicions of breaking the Child Prostitution and Pornography law.

Itou was originally arrested on Feb 21, 2024 after investigators found that he coerced a 15-year-old high school girl from Nagano who he met on an SNS platform to send her nude selfies.

Glad he got pinched but one question...

Does Japan not have the right to be free of self incrimination? Just shut the fuck up dude.

Glad he didn't shut up though.
Jap police and interrogators will just leave you to starve in a room or force a confession. It’s partially why they have the high conviction rate. American legal protections were literally inherited from non-Germanic Anglo ideas on laws and rights. Currently Germanics (Jews, Gentiles, and New Germans) are trying to undermine that.

Your Name sucked. Idk if any of you watched it, but it somehow was an anime that permeated the normie sphere while it was airing/in theaters. A good chunk of my coworkers at the time convinced me to watch it. They were relatively normal people, so I trusted that it wouldn't have any weird shit. Boy was I wrong.

One of the plot points in the film was the male MC drinking sake fermented with the use of underage shrine maiden saliva.

Ken, please warm up the helicopter, you're flying left seat. Anita, please fly right seat. Let's welcome a new crew chief, Pitor, from a place he calls Gunland, came well-recommended. Pitor will be understudying Jerry, the crew chief, after the rest of us complete the special processing. Pitor will do some flights with all the crew chiefs then join the regular crew rotation.

Mr Enter tore that movie as he complained of the plot holes

That is a weird thing about Japanese culture. When confronted like this they sing like birds.

Heck it was one of the stranger things the Americans noticed during WW2. Japanese soldiers and sailors would never ever surrender. We all know the lengths they would go to. But those that did. Those that were captured unconscious or in medical distress. Or who just didn't want to drown. Once captured, they sang like birds. They would tell American interogators everything they knew about anything and everything. You could not shut them up. They would provide the Americans not just with intelligence on their units, but also start going into analysis, and recommendations on how to attack. It was the weirdest thing the interogators had ever seen.

Yes and no.
The history and rationale of judicial torture is pretty long with a lot of back and forth.
The big split between the angloids' avoidance of judicial torture and the continentals' embrace of torture has to do with the Assize of Clarendon. Henry II made all felony offenses into crimes against the state itself rather than private matters, which meant that royal officers had the power to convene juries of presentment (predecessor of the grand jury) to determine an accused criminal's guilt or innocence, and they could convict on the basis of the weight of circumstantial evidence against the accused. Contrast to the continentals who were working off of canon/CJS law (two eyewitnesses or one 'voluntary' confession) which getting two credible eyewitnesses to any crime is, even in CURRENT YEAR, very difficult. So the continentals started to play fast and loose with what constituted a 'voluntary' confession. The continentals had large bodies of text which supposedly 'regulated' the use of torture as an investigative tool, though the regulations were not strictly adhered to by local magistrates and courts.

On the other side of the Channel, the angloids, even in ye olden days, were generally wary of accepting confessions they suspected to have been extracted by coercion (see Robert Butler). They even reinforced the Assize with the Magna Carta (no torture of peers except by royal warrant). The first instance of such warrants issued was by Edward II and that was under the joint pressure of the Pope and his father-in-law, Philip IV of France as part of Philip's persecution of the Knights Templar. The Tudors probably issued the most warrants for torture in angloid history. To be sure, the angloids had no qualms about executing men in all sorts of horrific ways according to the times (hanging, drawing, quartering, etc.) but the idea of torturing an innocent man was considered against the general 'dignity' and 'good manners' (ha!) of the angloid race.

And the creator of Gundam criticized his works for not enough sex
Remember he also said this:

Tomino recently attended the Anime NYC convention, where he shared some of the themes of his works to his fans. A question regarding his comments on Shinkai's works also came up there, and Tomino clarified that he was not talking about the level of "sexiness" in Shinkai's films. He did, however, say, “This might be hard for all of you to see, but in my mind, the image of a sexy animated character is Disney's Snow White.

Anime and nonces, name a more iconic duo.
The Catholic Church and nonces.
How does the number of anime creators getting caught doing depraved shit, compare to Western Woke media creators getting caught doing the same thing? Or does the media try to sweep Western Woke media creator crimes under the rug?
I believe it’s only the West that sweep crimes under the rug, depending on the politics.

Looking at the wrong group of people as the person in question is a producer not the creator of the original work.

There was this really short period in the late 80s/early 90s when a few panicky pete's thought that Japan was going to take over America b/c they were going through an economic boom at the time and they were buying and investing in a lot of big businesses. It was so short lived that you never really hear anyone mention it. That Bronson movie is a little time capsule back to a thing that no one cares about or remembers.
I only remember it because of American Psycho. It’s set during that time period. Someone complains that the Japanese are kicking America’s ass.

If you've ever signed a rental agreement with an oddly specific prohibition on having swords or "numbchucks" in it?

It's legacy from that time period where a lot of otherwise sane people became afraid that Japanese influence was creating actual murderous ninjas amongst the youth.

Jap serial killers are the same, they expect to get caught, and when it finally happens they freely confess.

Very polite, Japanese mass murderers. Their prisons are authoritarian hellholes, so it's not like they cooperate for lighter sentencing because there isn't any.
