Here's how I would do it. You make a fake video of something horrific, like someone engaging in satanic child abuse. Then you mobilize agents to create a real world repercussion, like attempting to bomb or burn the persons house, business, or government building. Then, while the iron's hot you use the fear and fervor to pass the AI Federal Regulation Bill. Immediately, you now have control over this new tech and a very convenient scapegoat for real scandals. You just say whatever it is that leaked is AI, and you prove it's "fake" with your AI, the only one legally allowed to be used.

The UK just banned deepfakes of real people so they don't even have to false flag it. Gibi won, and her victory has doomed us all.
 
Not really a conspiracy, but I hate the chronocentric idea that modern day humans are "smarter" than they were in the past, while simultaneously believing in "settled science" and that our fundamental understanding of science and the world around us won't be different in a hundred/thousand years.

These two things can't simultaneously be true. Not everything we report as true will be considered accurate in the future. I expect some critical and foundational shifts in our understanding of science, mathematics, and history that would be mocked if even suggested today.

The people of the past weren't "less smart," we've just had more time to experiment, develop, learn, and build upon previous successes and understanding. This will continue to happen.

We do not know everything, and everything we do know is subject to change.

There are two kinds of conspiracy theories; theories about conspiracies, which are people conspiring to do something. Things like the flat earth, or MKULTRA, or Bush doing 9/11, where people have elected to do something and hide it from others. Then there are strange theories that aren't conspiracies, but get lumped in because people who believe the first ones are more receptive to these other ones, things like Solar Plexus Clown Gliders, Hollow Universe theory, and anything about God, where it's some kind of philosophical or categorically unprovable hypothesis.

This is the second type: I think shadows are just occluded reflections. The more clear an object is, the more "reflective" it is, but the more occluded an object is, the reflection becomes a shadow. That's why even though all shadows are flat you can tell when you stick your hand across a pale shadow where your hand's shadow is. Why some shadows are more softly blurred and shadows closer to the surface being shadowed are more crisp. They're not just flat blocking of the light, they're effectively the same as reflections, only the object has less of a mirror-like quality and that's why it's black instead of an image.

I think the reason that esoteric things are popular with Conspiracy Chads is that, at least for me, conspiracy theories act as an exercise in thinking. Some are real, in fact many more than you would think are real, but either way they have you think on shit and draw connections between obscure information and that’s like 101 for esotericism.

As laughable and fake and gay I think QAnon is, there's solid evidence about international networks that use state-funded and state-owned resources to traffic and abuse children, and it keeps popping out from time to time.

Related, the McMartin hysteria was not such and was one of many of the embryonic stages of these networks in the states, such as the Finders, the Franklin Credit Scandal, JonBenet Ramsay and Johnny Gosch.

The gist of it is that Anime is perceived as too white and we can't have spaces majoritarily or exclusively inhabited by whites, nowhere.

The McMartin thing was real. You can find the archaeologist's report in the FBI documents on the Finders that spells out exactly what was in those tunnels under that school.
