Every interview I've seen with Kamala for the last 18 months she sounds, at best, slightly buzzed, and usually is fully channeling that spinster aunt at the party who's on her fourth wine cooler. She was pretty fake and uncharismatic as a candidate but it's really impressive how much worse she is now that she's in office.

She's 100% hitting the sauce heavily. She always had the kind of thin pinched features that age rapidly but now she looks downright haggard.

It can't be stress because she literally does nothing.

Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) formally filed articles of impeachment against President Biden on Friday due to his recent comments about withholding deliveries of heavy bombs to Israel if it launches a major attack on “population centers” in Rafah, Gaza’s southernmost city.

Mills compared his move with the 2019 impeachment of then-President Donald Trump for briefly delaying weapons shipments to Ukraine and claimed Biden abused his power by trying to leverage military aid to get Israel to change its military tactics.

“In violation of his oath to faithfully execute the office of President and to uphold the Constitution, President Biden abused the powers of his office by soliciting a ‘quid pro quo’ with Israel while leveraging vital military aid for policy changes,” Mills said in a statement, according to Fox News Digital.

“This egregious action not only compromised the credibility of the United States but also undermined the interests of our longstanding ally, Israel. Therefore, President Biden’s conduct warrants impeachment, trial, removal from office, and disqualification from holding any future office under the United States,” the statement added.

Over the past seven months, President Biden has staunchly supported the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza by approving hundreds of arms deals and shipping tens of thousands of heavy bombs. He has also provided political cover by vetoing UN Security Council resolutions for Israel and rejecting the International Court of Justice’s ruling that it’s “plausible” Israel is committing genocide.

While Biden warned he could withhold specific types of weapons from Israel, he still vowed the US would provide long-term military support for Israel. Members of his administration have also promised Israel will get all of the $17 billion in additional military aid that was recently authorized by Congress. But Republicans are still fuming over Biden’s comments.

I can't tell if this guy even knows what he's attempting to do with this chicanery. If he's trying to make Israel somehow look even more petulant and entitled he's doing a great, if confusing, job of it.
 
Probably not but it sure would be hilarious if it is true. Biden goes back to paying and they just turn around and get the bomb working.

I have no idea why the Democrats are so fixated on getting Iran to play ball again. It's about as stupid as the Republican hateboner against them trying to make a ground invasion of it work.

Washington state has some of the easiest primary ballot access in the country, which always results in an entertaining primary as the ballot is loaded with hilariously unqualified candidates. This year, someone took advantage of this to do a little trolling. The ultra-leftist state AG and likely primary winner is Bob Ferguson, and now two other people also named Bob Ferguson have entered the race. The AG Ferguson is big mad and is threatening to prosecute the other Fergusons.

SEATTLE (KOMO) — Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson is holding a press conference Monday to address recent developments in the state's governor's race.

On Friday, two additional Democratic candidates filed for governor under the name Bob Ferguson. Right wing activist Glen Morgan posted on Facebook at 4:59 p.m. Friday that he was the "volunteer campaign manager for two of the Bob Fergusons running for Governor. They are both superior in every way to the AG running for the same office, and I believe they can provide better choices for the Democrats in our state for that office.

Ferguson, the Democratic frontrunner, said via X that Morgan's motive is to "confuse voters and diminish votes." Ferguson called the additions an "illegal scheme," violating RCW 29a.84.320: "Duplicate, nonexistent, untrue names."

"The stakes could not be higher," Ferguson wrote on social media. "This is a direct attack on our democracy and the integrity of the Washington state election system that could lead to the victory of an anti-choice conservative like Dave Reichert.

"Washingtonians start voting in less than two months. We are going to need significant resources to get the message out about which 'Bob Ferguson' to vote for in August."

During the press conference, Ferguson said he knows one of the Bob Fergusons who filed has previously voted as a Republican. Ferguson added that the other two candidates — both named Robert Ferguson — are from Yakima and Graham.

The deadline to withdraw from candidacy is 5 p.m. Monday, Ferguson said, and if the two other Fergusons withdraw, they could avoid prosecution.

"I do not want them prosecuted," Ferguson said.

The Washington state primary is being held on Aug. 6, and the general election occurs on Nov. 5. Ferguson is the leading Democratic candidate, likely squaring off against Reichert or Semi Bird, the Republican favorites.

The Iran deal was essentially Obama's only foreign policy accomplishment that didn't blow up in his face. It was done circumventing Hillary's state department after the disaster that was the Russian Reset, after unilaterally withdrawing from Iraq created ISIS, and something involving Libya I'll get to later, and he and his staffers are very embittered that it was nixed the millisecond Trump took office.
There are many theories as to why aligning closer to Iran was a priority for them, from people ascribing antisemitic attitudes on Obama's part (derived both from his association with Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground as a student and him over-compensating for looking black but having about as much in common with your typical black American as any white kid), to Israel's recent governments trying to get closer to China/Russia and pissing off US foreign policy wonks.
But at the end of the day, there is a sizeable camp in DC that still thinks Iran can simply be bought off to stop pursuing nuclear weapons. This is a pipe dream, not only because their government is controlled by ideological radicals, but also because the USA destroyed any possibility of so-called 'rogue states' willingly de-nuclearizing after Qaddafi took our word that WMDs were the reason we were in Iraq, shuttered Libya's nuclear weapons program, and then we pushed for regime change in his country anyways.

Lmao if they try prosecuting someone for having the same name. I'm sure that'll go over great. Some fun sabotage would be to fake trooning out and legally change your name to something like Nancy Pelosis or AOC and run. If they try prosecuting you tar them with the transphobia brush.

If they are actually named "Robert Ferguson", there's nothing he can do except to cope and seethe as it is their actual names, not "duplicate, nonexistent, untrue names".

A new set of polls reveals that Donald Trump is leading President Biden in five out of six critical battleground states, as young and nonwhite voters grow increasingly dissatisfied with the current president.

The surveys, from the New York Times, Siena College and the Philadelphia Inquirer found that Trump is smoking Biden in Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania, while Biden is barely clinging to Wisconsin. The top grievances among disaffected voters are cost of living, immigration, and the war in Gaza, in what the NY Times characterizes as "widespread dissatisfaction with the state of the country and serious doubts about Mr. Biden’s ability to deliver major improvements to American life."

Nearly 70 percent of voters say that the country’s political and economic systems need major changes — or even to be torn down entirely.
Only a sliver of Mr. Biden’s supporters — just 13 percent — believe that the president would bring major changes in his second term, while even many of those who dislike Mr. Trump grudgingly acknowledge that he would shake up an unsatisfying status quo.

Young hispanics, for example, gave Biden more than 60% of their vote in 2020. Now, Trump and Biden are virtually tied among that demographic. Trump has also garnered over 20% of black votes according to the poll, the highest level for any Republican candidate wince the Civil Rights Act was enacted in 1964.

Because of this, Trump's strength among young and nonwhite voters has "upended the electoral map."

"It is concerning to me when I keep seeing press come out of the White House where they keep saying the economy is good," according to 32-year-old Jacob Sprague of Reno, Nevada, who voted for Biden in 2020 but won't be doing so again. "That’s really weird because I’m paying more on taxes and more on groceries and more on housing and more on fuel. So that doesn’t feel good."

Even more hilarious is that nearly 20% of voters blame Biden more than Trump for the Supreme Court's 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade (what?).

Trump is polling particularly well with voters who believe that political and economic systems need to be torn down - around 15% of registered voters, with whom Trump is leading by 32 points.
