Has Sam even used the Million Dollar Extreme moniker since the Adult Swim cancellation? Seems like it would have been a good opportunity to dust the brand name off for the stand up tour but they haven't done it yet. Post-idubbz fans might not even know what MDE even is.

He posted some samples of a new clothing drop and it was all using the Com98 branding. Maybe I'm wrong but I think he abandoned the MDE name.

During Fishtank season 1 he has that WP2 is bringing back the old-school MDE

WIP shots of some WP2 merch. I've liked Konzept's stuff in the past but this merch and some of the bumpers shown are disappointing. It looks like a shittier version of the clown blouse shirt from back in the day.

Compared to the original Clown Blouse which was... exactly as you described and wasn't even wearable because of the painfully stiff glitter print all over. I'm pretty sure the "vision" was to make the loudest and most obnoxious shirt possible that looks bad. That is the way Sam described the tee way back during the first print run when Barry Obama was still in office. Go look it up.

The problem with the new shirt is the visual weight of the assets are all over the place, even though the pictures on the clown blouse are asymmetrical they more or less match in prominence with more eye popping pictures on the shoulders/sleeves and down the middle line of the shirt to draw your eye. (you can see it more clearly if you chinaman squint while looking) shits still being worked on though so hopefully it gets fixed.

It's in some of the new bumpers, but only briefly. I think intentionally or not Sam is trying to minimize use of the MDE name, either because he's afraid of adult swim coming after him, or because the MDE name has a bad rep, I mean this is how the wikipedia page opens "Million Dollar Extreme (MDE) was an American sketch comedy troupe known for their alt-right and white supremacist fans, cultivated by founder Sam Hyde."

The more time that passes the more I accept World Peace was doomed from the start just because of the time it came out. It premiered in August 2016 right before the election. Once Trump got in office lefties wanted blood and huge deplatforming and witchhunts started happening as a form of revenge. I think even if Joe Bernstein hadn't written that hitpiece someone else would have.

Was rewatching KSTV season 1 the other day and is it just me or was prebloat Sam's rage way funnier? Like now he's just always seething and ranting all the time but his anger used to feel like it had more direction and was less nihilist idk.

I'd agree. iirc most of his rage was about media and the effect its had on culture during this era, so it gave the angry nerd image with a contradictory 6 foot frame. During this time he did give actual good life advice too.
Now though, it's essentially "lift and try to fuck the sane women."
