I don't know, he's managed to make a pretty good living as a YouTube griftnigger. Its a competetive environment, it takes cunning and a certain level of savvy to be able to do that and be noticably above the vast amount of cattle scraping for scraps. He's not Assmongoloids level or someone like that but he's been able to maintain a fairly big channel for years feeding the normies without tripping himself up too badly.

He got big originally off appealing to a niche "creepy dark web, scary creepypasta." If you go look at his older videos you'll see the quality isn't the best nor his commentary that unique or interesting. What brought in viewers was the fact that there weren't many videos covering the actual contents of the much feared spooky dark web and there was a high demand for such content.


Of course like most YouTubers who get their success from appealing to a niche once he had a significant amount of subscribers he gradually started shifting his content to spamming out videos about whatever topic is trending at the time. Your first problem was going to a Discord server. Discord is fine, it's servers are not.

Discord is far from alright as a platform and as a company, and I'd argue a decently-sized part of the reason why it is the den of grooming and degeneracy which Lucas and his ilk thrives in stems from the policies and employees of the company itself.

Let's talk about troons. Discord, as a company, has donated to LGBT charities regularly and is openly proud of donating to charities which "secure equity for Trans-identifying people" (a), with both of these charities unsurprisingly advocating (1, 2) for "protecting trans youth" (read: grooming children).

Though I'll need to save the deep digging for another time, I am almost 100% certain that there are transgender individuals among the Discord developers and moderators, who undoubtedly are under-the-table supporting the shit Keffals and co. are doing to minors. A good thread to read about how Discord is doing basically nothing about child grooming as long as its under the right flag would be the boykisser thread, where minors are openly stating they wish to trade nudes in DMs and little to no action is taken about it. As far as I remember, very little has been done on Discord's part about any of these servers and people despite them being consistently and repeatedly reported to them and law enforcement.

All of these things were stuff I found from more or less 30 minutes of basic Googling on a phone. Anyone who digs deeper into Discord's developers and admins I feel would uncover some absurdly horrifying things.

The point of the rambling in the spoiler above is to say that Discord is perfectly fine with people like Keffals, and the mindset which allows this kind of thinking is present in the company from top-down. They were fine with Catboy Ranch, they continue to be fine with child grooming on their platform (again, as long as it's in the name of "discovering who they truly are"), and they always will be supportive of this shit. Discord enables this shit to happen and they are proud of it.
