Here are more clips from episode 15 of The Bog. These some of these clips are longer because it's... a lot.
(Previous parts of this:
1,
2,
3 (at the bottom))
Ian is mesmerized by how much content hate videos have. "It's her own personal Twitter!" he says. Not sure what his point is with that. Anisa says that all she posts about is being sad all the time

how could these haters get content from all her sadposting?
Dane says that iDubbbz should go into why they had the "no Anisa in my content" rule in the first place, and the rewriting of history continues. iDubbbz was just a very UNSURE PERSON. But wait, didn't Anisa just say that he was one of the most secure people she's ever met??
"You're one of the most secure people I've ever met! Well you've become less secure over time because your world has kind of been shaken, but..." AHHHH
-Anyway, point is that they were fighting a lot at the time and he didn't want to feel like he was "stuck with [her]" (Anisa's words)
-Incredibly rare moment where Ian shows some affection toward Anisa and says that he wouldn't have regretted posting anything with her now, compared to the videos that he regretted posting
-Dane says Ian is still like this. Didn't want to say that Dane was going to be on the podcast in case it didn't happen.
Anisa speaks for Ian and says that he will always be this way. Then she says that
she's attracted to that because it reminds her of her dad. EWWW.
iDubbbz says that another reason he didn't include Anisa in his videos was because it didn't feel natural or organic. He enjoyed making videos on his own. But actually! When he talks to her about new video ideas she's "naturally involved in the process"! See, she was always there in the background chuds!!! With video ideas and... background stuff... and-
"Heavily behind the camera" interjects Anisa. Anisa was now THE CAMERA WOMAN behind all of your favourite iDubbbz videos. You should thank her for her expert cinematography.
But it doesn't stop there. She was TALKING TO PEOPLE TOO! She was "the lubricant" (ew) in these "social situations". She encourages him to do things ALL THE TIME he otherwise wouldn't have done!
"THE POST MALONE THING WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF IT WASN'T FOR ME" - Anisa
Ian once again talks about how he needs Anisa to talk for him, and how he's too reliant on it at this point. She doesn't even have to THINK before she speaks guys
The more interesting part about this clip is that after iDubbbz says his reasons for not having Anisa be in the content (he liked making videos by himself, it wouldn't be organic, he didn't know if the relationship was going to last), they sort of start a weird struggle session. Anisa then speaks for him and says that "ACKSHUALLY... you knew what people would be like too, right? It was THE HATERS...". Dane jumps in and says that that's what he was getting at the whole time. iDubbbz was PROTECTING Anisa from his incel fanbase, primarily. Nevermind that Ian has stated in his apology video that he didn't think Anisa getting harassed was his problem.
iDubbbz first softly agrees with them but still tries to stick to his original point: People would've liked it if it was another content creator from his sphere of YouTube, but it's inorganic if it's just his girfriend.
Ian says that there was a video where her laugh was in it, and it wasn't a problem!
Anisa corrects him- ACKSHUALLY, it was. The top comment said that my laugh ruined it!!!
iDubbbz instantly folds and just says that she's right.
(Do you know anything about this
@anisa_jomha_reciepts?)
This is the part where she dishonestly relays the story again of someone taking a picture of them at a fair and someone on Reddit calling her a piece of shit. She wasn't even in anything!!! This was before she had the OF/Tattoos/short hair!!! They've always hated her for no reason!!!
Except the comment was actually an inside joke regarding the camera he was holding. Her persecution complex is crazy.
Note how Ian has gone from actually engaging in conversation to quietly browsing his phone. I guess that's protocol for when she starts spinning her stories. Smart.
Anisa says she doesn't think it was WRONG for Ian to have this rule. She UNDERSTANDS why he had this rule (remember this). Just that because he didn't introduce her hard enough, he had NO IDEA she would get so much hate. Which directly contradicts the previous two clips. They just established she was getting hate already when she dindu nuffin and wasn't in any clips.
Dane further demonizes the fans- they were always bullies! Always mean! It's interesting to watch Dane here constantly flip flop between clearly understanding that it was friendly jabbing and jokes, and trying to rewrite history and say that iDubbbz was getting so badly harassed that he couldn't have possibly wanted to expose his gf to such vitriol. Right Ian? Right?!?!
(Again, forget that Ian has said that it wasn't his problem that Anisa was getting harassed)
(ALSO forget that Anisa originally said she wanted to "make it on her own", separate from Ian, which they never bring up in this podcast...)
Before this clip she talks about how MANY YOUTUBERS were making videos on her, because people thought that was the way to take down THE CONTENT COP. Here she talks about YouTubers making "5 videos on her" and messaging her (paging @anisa_jomha_reciepts again. I know she's probably setting up to talk about Venti later, but she says "youtubers" so I'm wondering if any other prominent figure was making videos about Anisa pre OF? I think Venti was the only one that did it before it was cool).
She talks about how she felt ISOLATED... nevermind that Ian was right there. She tells a story about how Ian went to record a video and she broke down and cried for an hour in the garage. This is definitely a jab at Ian and he's too autistic to pick it up
"I didn't know it at the time, but intense isolation can change you and make you do things you otherwise wouldn't do" uhh, no shit?
This one is fucking crazy:
-Ian slips and talks about how she also had no idea about what she wanted to do, she was doing every type of content, was very "lost"
-Then Anisa sounds like she's about to cry and says that she really LOVED STREAMING. She found PURPOSE in streaming. But the streaming had to stop because she was getting SO MUCH HATE. And all this hate was from Ian's fanbase aparently.
-They would also come into the stream and *gasp* ask about him! This complaint doesn't make sense until you, again, take into account that Anisa wanted to "make it on her own" originally.
-"So we were trying to find other things for me to do"... get a real job? "I wanted to stay online really badly" oh.
-"I found my community there" huh? But you said everyone hated you. Which is it?
-"It makes me sad actually
... because it was my career too" "...It's hard... I loved doing that
"
-The most depressing part about this clip, iDubbbz says "I'm sorry" at the end of that. Remember-- it wasn't WRONG of Ian to impose the "No Anisa rule". But it DID ruin her life and ruin her career and make her miserable!! Absolutely buck broken lol.
As if to perfectly book-end this section, Anisa says that
I WE didn't know what we were doing, IWE still kind of don't... "but my biggest issue right now is like... what am I ... doing?" (there we go, some honesty!)
"Well... we're going to therapy right now.... we got a couple of dogs..." Says iDubbbz.
True kinoplex A24 slow burn horror right here. Mwah.
