Saira Rao / sairasameerarao / Race 2 Dinner / Race2D / In This Together Media - Failed congressional candidate whose existence revolves around hating white people

It's possible she's encountered some self-loathing, hyper-progressive white woman who was actually nuts enough to think and say this. Given the kinds of insanity we saw during the Summer of Floyd, and in the almost four (!) years since, I'm certain that a white woman with this level of racist craziness and vicious, self-destroying shame festering in her head can exist. And if she does, she'd be likely to seek out Saira Rao, and Race2Dinner, like flies seek shit.

But given that it's Saira Rao herself posting this? My #thathappened radar is pinging hard.

Ooh, so edgy.

This whole movie sounds like it could be a goldmine. I'm looking into it a bit deeper.

A quote from the segment with Robin DiAngelo:

"Matt asked what I thought about reparations... he took out his wallet and handed Ben some cash." – Matt introduced a Black crew member, Ben, and handed him cash, pushing DiAngelo to do the same as a test of her stance on reparations.
"I went to my wallet and handed him my cash." – Feeling pressured by the situation, DiAngelo reluctantly gave Ben cash, describing her discomfort with the setup.

A quote from the segment with Robin DiAngelo:
Am I Racist? is a product of Conservatism Inc., so it can only be so based. That being said, the scenes where Matt Walsh goes undercover as a waiter for one of Rao and Regina's dinners with libtard wine moms ranks as one of the highlights. Similarly, seeing Robin DiAngelo struggle and squirm to fork over the $30 from her pocketbook was priceless. Other moments from the film are a little too on-the-nose so to speak, and the diversity lesson Matt Walsh holds as a DEI instructor careens between cringeworthy and hilarious. Other moments such as getting passersby to sign his petition to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd monument along with speaking with locals at a biker bar seem tacked on to fill time.

6/10. Surprisingly watchable for something produced by The Daily Wire.
