I like that the liminal spaces pool is a thing, especially that she uses it while fully clothed it in the dead of night like some sort of Kuwaiti cryptid. I don't like it enough to sit and watch it, just that it exists and is very strange. Probably the most exercise she's gotten in years.

That degree of weightloss isn’t even a whole shit for her. I’ve also yet to see her actually do any exercise in that pool, although she no doubt thinks it is because it’s more movement than she ever usually does.

I actually believe there is another health issue, and that it was diagnosed a few days ago. There is a reason that this pool arc has begun and it’s not the heat. It was hot last summer, and not once did they use the pool, even though they showed it. I’d guess the Dr read her the riot act, with Salah there, and told her she must get some exercise, preferably in water. So the pool play began. It won’t be a skin condition if she’s swimming in a public pool, rather I would suggest it’s internal organ related.
I think you're right about her already knowing. I'll bet she had some tests done in Canada and very recently got the results because she sure as hell didn't go to the doctor in Kuwait today. I checked the Google and it can take up to 30 days to get test results in Leafland. They probably sent them to Smee and she relayed the results to Cutie. But give it a day or two for them to fall into her memory hole and she'll be back to shoving hubcaps of rice into her maw with a serving spoon in no time. Btw, I'm still laughing at her murmuring that the edamame "tasted like sadness" and they "didn't trigger the pleasure center" in her brain. That's all she lives for. It figures that she felt that way about the only halfway healthy thing she ate. She also "feels so alone" because Prince Charmin is just a prop like Sam and BBJ were.

This. I get that it can be fun to predict what the hippo will do next, but that's giving it what it wants. It loves when we theorize about it because it thinks that's the same as it "manipulating the fuck out of us".
