I've had similar discussions with boomer family and friends of the family. "Why are you renting just buy something." Ok, shit me $300,000. "You don't need a mansion, just buy a modest home." $300k gets you the smallest crack house in town now. "That can't be right, this house down the street is on the market, look into it, it's nice." They're asking $250k. "They can't be that house is only worth $50k at best, they'll never sell it for $250k, make an offer for $45k and they'll take it after they come to their senses." etc etc.

In the special case of Hawaii (as @OrangeJuliusEvola has probably discovered), condo HOA fees can run on average an extra $700-$1000 per month even for like a 1 bedroom.

We need a market correction. Bullshit companies have pushed their stock prices up via shitty business practices to the point that share value, profit, and feasibility of business are entirely unconnected.

This economy is entirely built on the same dollar being lended back and forth ad infinitum. Cut the free money by raising rates and see if these companies can sink or swim. They'll actually have to play to the free market. They'll actually have to keep their decent staff happy so their company can function, like they did in decades past.

If we stop treating the free market like a giant ponzi scheme organizations will actually have to compete.

That's my shitty thoughts on it anyway.
Wow. I don't think I've seen such a blatant display of anti-Semitism in my life.

Holy shit despite the best efforts of the faggot judge, Blanche rolled Cohen up and smoked his ass today

Forced Cohen to admit that he had lied time and again, forced Cohen to admit that he had perjured himself in his testimony not even 96 hours ago

The coping and seething I've been reading from faggots like Norm Eisen on twatter all day has been absolutely delectable

Holy shit, people are STILL being charged with Jan6 bullshit to THIS VERY DAY
A couple from Massapequa are the latest Long Islanders charged in connection with the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

Kevin Moore, 61, and his wife Carol, 57, are accused of illegally entering the Capitol building.

According to authorities, the pair entered through the Senate wing door.

Federal authorities say Kevin Moore also aggressively yelled and gestured at a law enforcement officer.

In a statement, an attorney for the couple said that they are “peace-loving, patriotic Americans who gave voice to their genuine concerns about the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.”

Kevin Moore works for the MTA as a structure maintainer. According to the MTA, he had an approved absence on Jan. 6 and has been on requested leave since April.

Their attorney added that Kevin Moore is a 9/11 first responder and he and his wife were at the Capitol on Jan. 6 lawfully showing their support and giving aid to others who had been sprayed with Mace.

Both are charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. They were released Thursday without having to post bail.

The average home price nationwide according to the Wall Street Journal is 410k and the market is so tight realtor's are recommending offering 30% over asking price.

What the fuck is anyone supposed to do?
Elect politicians that promise to do a Milei on regulations and then do a Milei on them if they don't follow through

The housing shortage exists because of two reasons

1. The scamdemic shut down construction so a lot of houses and apartment buildings that would have been built in 2020, weren't
2. Retard regulations make it far less profitable to meet demand with new supply than it is to squeeze the market with the insufficient old supply. This is a situation that existed before the scamdemic but the scamdemic put it on steroids

Does the crime rate have anything to do with it as well? Also, you'd have to account for squatters as well.

I locked into a fixed in 2017 and even that isn't enough to save me, my homeowners insurance company merged with another and my ins rate went from 1200 a year to now being over 4k and my shitty flood/termite eaten house is somehow worth double. The barn is now something like 80k. It's a glorified toolshed worth like 10k, tops.
This shit is going to collapse, and the sooner the better.

condo fees can be a magical bitch depending on how they're written
iirc in Florida if it's written right (for them, bad for you) if everybody else in the building stops existing you're stuck with the entire water and power bills for all the extra shit like the hallways and lawns, since it was evenly distributed around the tenants

There's no video but Andrew Giuliani's twitter (Rudy's son, he's been in the courtroom livetweeting) details it, and here's video of Anderson Cooper and CNN getting the sads over how badly Cohen got destroyed today:

Extra salty tears to enjoy in the replies to Andrew's tweets

It’s faster, cheaper, easier, and tastier to simply make your own Tacos at home.
Its piss easy. Just dump the meat in a pan, add your flavorings, stir around, and place in a tortilla of some sort. I've got a recipe for some chicken taco meat for you guys:

Chicken.
Allspice.
Clove.
Some salsa from a jar.
Triple sec.
Cayenne.
Cumin.
Chili powder.
Garlic salt.
Black pepper.

Use in whatever proportions you prefer. Personally I go heavy on the allspice, clove, and triple sec for a very rich flavor.

I lean more towards Alton Brown's mix from the old good eats, but yeah it's really not unlocking the secrets of the h-bomb to get a decent taco

altons is a great recipe, used to make it all the time. The McCormick low sodium taco seasoning is comparable and doesn't have cornmeal or some weird binder as the first ingredient... and doesnt go bad in that little package. Not a waste of money for that reason. *edit not very politic. still a good suggestion.
oh, I know how to fix it

I have the components around any normal time so it's not worth getting the packets for that for me.
I _do_ stock up on the stand and stuff tacos when they're bogo, though

Nooooo it's so heccin wrong and invaliderino to have some corporation assemble the seasoning mix for you

The proper heccin valid way is to buy all the ingredients from corporations and assemble them into a seasoning mix yourself

To be somewhat fair, seasoning packets like that tend to sit around in warehouses longer losing some of their flavor. Though its an overall minor effect. Personally, I am a fan of making my own after using seasoning packets as a baseline to modify from.

Fedposting the Fed is more and more reasonable by the day.

They kept it going in 2008 because they didn't want King Nigger to preside over a Depression. They kept that going in 2016 because they didn't want a Great Depression when it was Her Turn and they thought they could trigger enough of a recession to uproot Trump.

Now? They are looking at shit that brought out the guillotines in France.
