Whole youtube comment system became reddit 2.0, people are just trying to get likes to be the top comment or a heart from the uploader. Then you've got constant shadowbans by using vocabulary that's not pre-approved by the truth department at youtube. Once I tried to respond to some faggot making false claims, of course politely and without any controversial language. But in the end I spent more time censoring potential offending words as my comment kept getting shadowbanned. They can call you an incel, nazi or any other of their insults just fine, but you will struggle to articulate a single sentence that doesn't get your comment deleted. Fuck that faggot site, it's not even worth bothering.

Disturbing, yes. However it's more disturbing how unsurprising that is. They're capable of understanding someone having a different opinion, they're just incapable of just going "ok" and moving on. I understand that very well but I usually only fuck with people with different opinions if they're trying to disguise a statement as an opinion. They will go after someone with even the slightest differing opinion, making all kinds of accusations. Aphantasia is also pretty common, along with a lack of inner monologues. You'd be surprised how many people go through life purely on instinct and direct reactions.

Some comments are shadow banned, I spend quite a while testing YouTube system and any potential "toxic" word results in a shadowban. Stuff like retard, dumb, loser, pedo, tard, homo, drug names, etc lol cause your comment to be shadow banned. I noticed however this may be simply a default moderation setting for channels, as in certain channels comment section you are allowed to type some of this words

Diversity is an empire killer, too much of it at least. Too many clashing ideas, cultures, the incompatibility will be insurmountable. It's a minefield, I've said the most inoffensive shit and my comment will still get deleted instantly. It's both the YouTuber blacklist and YouTube's blacklist you're fighting against.

To be fair, you are competing with God knows how many commentators, only the most witty or those that speak for the most people will get noticed. Even in small communities.

You are 100% shadow banned. If you comment on YouTube, have the same site open in TOR, and you will see. Probably even half your livestream comments get yeeted.

Google does a little bit of word filtering, but I am fairly certain it's more like a social credit system.

I had to switch accounts because my main account had such a bad social credit score that I couldn't even leave a comment giving someone boring technical advice about a program. I have been using LLMs to depersonalize my YouTube comments and make sure I don't accidentally use no-no words.

If your account is already negative 100 goy points, there is no way to word anything; the majority of your comments will get axed or shadow banned.

I am pretty sure you lose points like this:

• Your comment gets disliked by a user with a high goy score.
• You dislike a comment by a user with a very high goy score.
• You like a comment by a user with a very low goy score.

This ensures that if you make a comment that is well-worded and has no offensive words whatsoever, it will still get deboosted if it contains information that goes against YouTube's policies.

Maybe you can raise your goy score back up by subscribing to the correct channels and liking the correct comments.
Some code monkey could write a script that does that; it would be interesting.
