Aha! So it wasn't me just sucking at the game and its cheating bots after all!
"TF2 is one of the oldest actively supported video games on the market"
Hahahahaha. Dead game.
I hate youtube and the antichrist.
Where did the days go...Seems like yesterday I was fighting Demomen in the Great War...

I wonder if Valve could possibly be charged with running what is essentially a scam (offering a game that doesn't fucking work and refusing to fix it because the bots earn them so much revenue).
Ah yes, the ultimate scam: a game that's been f2p for 20 years forcing you to....buy cosmetic hats on a non-supported website.

"Your honor, while my damages amount to literally nothing, based on my investment of literally nothing, on the promise of literally nothing, MY EMOTIONAL DAMAGE IS OVER 9000"

Valve=FINISHED

There's literally incompletable games on the 360 because the indie devs didn't want to pay the 10k to fix their game crippling bug that remain for sale, what's going to happen to Valve for...not fixing a 20 year old free game? That they haven't even completely abandoned? That made no promise about anything ever? lol (ignoring of course that the game literally works and you can play any part of it, but that's....semantics)

you niggers need to do the math before believing in something as insane as this

1. an account can get a maximum of ten item drops per week, with cases being the most common drop but not guaranteed
2. to be conservative, lets assume an account gets an average of five cases per week
3. each case sells for $0.01, so an account earns $0.05/week
4. each account needs to spend $5.00 on steam to be able to sell items
5. to make up the initial investment, an account needs to earn $5.00
6. at a rate of $0.05/week, it would take 100 weeks ($5.00 divided by $0.05/week) for an account to break even

i havent even considered the cost of running a bot that plays tf2 matches every day (you cant get item drops by idling) and you can already see how stupid it would be to invest this amount of time to get pennies in return
it would be completely retarded to do this thing on a larger scale

> TF2 Youtubers in 2016: "Competitive mode will save the game!"
> The highest number of people in a single Competitive TF2 match over a week was 18 people.

The absolute state of "Competitive TF2" in 2024. I would laugh if it wasn't so sad to see. Meet Your Match was such a travesty of an update.
Competitive in general ruins any game. Even overwatch, whose release prompted meet your match in the first place, has been strangled by the failed attempt at making it an esport.

4. each account needs to spend $5.00 on steam to be able to sell items
The accounts farming the cases aren't the ones selling. Per the video, they are traded in bulk for scrap.
Scrap then is turned into refined metal and sold, since it now has a clean history.
That refined doesn't even need to be sold on the steam market, it can be traded for cash or items through off site trades and using trade bots to perform the sale if needed.
So really all they need is one account that could list on the market (if they even use the steam market.)

All the bots have to do is
-idle on menu screen, accept all notifs (per the video, tf2 can be run as a minimal shell of itself)
-bot request all cases to another account/set up trades to occur when inventory hits capacity
-that account(s) trades cases to actual sellers for scrap en mass, or has the seller request from the bot accounts directly
-takes scrap, turn into ref
-trade ref for non-steam cash payment

The most arduous tasks in that would be
-finding case sellers to pawn the cases off on
-crafting the ref
-setting up steamguard (15 day wait) in order to be able to trade away the cases

Per the steam help articles- limited accounts are only kept from trading "Steam Community items (trading cards, booster packs, gems, etc.)". Cases fall outside of this and therefore can be traded by accounts without the $5 payin.

https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/71D3-35C2-AD96-AA3A

Steam has multiple free games that drop items to trade. The $5 is only to access the community market and be able to sell the steam-created items. It's to protect their assets, since trading cards can be gotten in the same way as cases (menu idling) but resell for 20 cents up to over a dollar depending on the game/drop rate. TF2, CS:GO? Fuck em.

The ONLY restriction I have found mentioned on forums that I was not able to verify by reading Steam's help section was that lvl 0 accounts are not able to initiate trades. Even if that is the case, all it would take to bypass that is have 1-5? 3? actual accounts request the cases from the bots or have your buyers do it.

Zesty Jesus? Pedo troon? That's the first time I hear someone calling him that. Can you substantiate what makes Zesty Jesus a pedophile and a tranny? Unless your brain rotted so much that in your vocabulary words "pedo" and "troon" are generic insults like "idiot" or "retard" and you have an issue with him for some reason.
found this on 4chan

As I've said in my previous posts, the man is coomed-brained so this could be that autism showing itself. Since he likes girls who look like they inject an entire barrel of steroids I doubt he's cruising for 12 years olds but who knows? Having a Discord server is almost like an admittance these days. I unfortunately see similar images on the Kiwifarms sometimes too so that's something to think about.

Having a Discord server is almost like an admittance these days
>Have a discord server
>suffer from the retarded autism that goes on on your server

<not have a discord server
<fans make their own unofficial discord server and you suffer from the retarded autism that goes on on that server with you having no control over it

the only winning move is not to play

Zesty has previously said on stream that this was a joke (albeit distasteful), and I believe him. TF2 Twitter faggots, as per the norm, immediately took this and accused him of being a pedophile despite they themselves more than likely being actual lolicon niggers as proven time and time again.

Hypocrisy is always in stock at Twitter(dot)com.

TF2 cheating software 'Cathook' has been wiped off of GitHub (along with it's creators being banned), allegedly by someone who goes by 'The Geneticist' who sent an email about the repo to Valve.

There's a post on r/tf2 explaining the situation, but I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Gay nigga apocalypse

Jokes aside, few facts:
1. nullworks/cathook didn't have any active dev for months if not years at this point, with new dev being moved to RosneBurgerworks/temprosnehook instead
2. nullifiedcat's github account is still standing, so the spic's claim of the org owner getting banned too is false
3. t.me/nullworks is probably hijacked by another cheater or cheater-adjacent group, as its currently a massive circlejerk around cathook not working on x64
4. nullworks/cathook is deleted with the org, as evident by BenCat07's complete absence of commits to private repositories where were cathook commits before the deletion (archived repo)

My money is on the spic just taking the claim of doing this on himself for whatever the fuck this is. Valve not being aware of the github repository for years is the most retarded thought imaginable and thinking an email did all this is absurd.
What interests me is that there was a UC thread about cathook getting removed from github that was itself also removed from the forum.

Apparently bencat just rq'd off cathook development and nuked the org for the funny due to tf2 going x64, not like he was developing it anyway. It's almost never a "valve did something" situation.

Troon with leukemia visted Valve recently as a Make a Wish thing and got gifted both an unusual gibus and an unusual golden pan.

Unlike the last kid from ten years ago who got the unusual version of that one skull hat however, this one wasted no time to run to Reddit to show off the goods.

A brief look into their Reddit posting history makes me wonder if taking experimental sex reversing drugs is a good thing to mix with leukemia treatments.

Who wants to save TF2 again?

so basically do the same shit but with the knowledge of having done the same shit beforehand?

i know jackshit of american laws and also i know that the people that are "fans" of this game are so braindead they'd fuck it up in a spectacular manner anyways, but didn't null once mention on twitter that the best way to get results is to make a class action lawsuit and give valve a legal incentive to maintain their game?

Who wants to save TF2 again?

This game is like 17, close to 18 years old at this point. Do like other mentally well adults and move on and remember the memories this game gave you instead of trying to relive your high school memories from 2009 and 2010 playing an online game to escape your bullies from high school. Be happy valve even cares about this game after all these years and put up servers, they could’ve just pulled the plug many years ago and would not have cared less since this game probably don’t even bulge on their quarterly earnings at this point.

Zoomers don’t want to play tf2 because it’s full of bots, zoomers don’t want to play tf2 because it’s a fucking old and outdated game filled with fucking retards, it’s that simple. To put in perspective, it’s like adults in the year 2007 sperging about how doom released in 1994 “is dying because no damn millennials want to play it because it’s filled with bots”. No, it’s because millennials don’t want to play some mid 90s game when they at the time, have access to much better games in 2007 like counter strike or team fortress 2.

Give it some 10-15 years from now and you probably have shitty wannabe academic analysis videos of Fortnite as well, I damn bet you.
