I'm of the opinion that the mrkrabs9000 debacle was a gay op, but I understand why some people think it's legitimate; however, you have to be an actual drooling retard to think this incident wasn't one (see: Keemstar and Warski). The person who pulled this off could have easily made it more believable, and why they wasted what is likely their only opportunity before the stream key was changed on this obvious bait is beyond me. For example, they could have kept the static outro screen going and spliced in typing and ambient recordings of Nick before playing gay porn sounds as though it were coming through another tab and being picked up on by OBS - I don't like or participate in these faggot ass ops, but I was able to think of an infinitely better way of doing this in less than two minutes. Do better.

Interesting that he says it was not from someone leaking the stream key and instead from a vulnerability with the website. It does track with how his intros don’t play the same way on rumble as they do on cozy, and the gay porn not being played on rumble. Believable I would say.
As to why the groyprape telegram account claims it was one of his interns: to induce some sort of paranoia? “HEY NICK WANNA FIND OUT WHO FLIPPED?” is part of one of the video titles there.
