Both Nioh games had him, in 2 he was an optional duel side mission boss, and Phil did that optional side mission. He doesn't remember him because he doesn't give a shit about videogames, the last time he talked about Nioh he said that he was this parry god who beat multiple bosses without taking a single hit by parrying them all. What was the actual reality? 99% of his playthrough was him doing the mid stance heavy attack string with spear. He only found out that there were parry techniques when he played the first DLC and got squashed by Date Masamune 20 times. A dent in chat handheld him by saying that there is a parry move for spear in mid stance which does well against Masamune (which is true, he has this big lunging charge attack and every boss that has them are really easily parried). So Phail equipped it, Masamune killed him 20 more times and then Phil ragequit the DLC.

4) His CompSci story (Another troll bait question). Claims to have gotten into computers through Oregon Trail and MS Word and Excel (Yet he can't make a excel spreadsheet for his budget). His professor was a brainiac who understood everything but couldn't teach a class (DSP couldn't follow and was out of his element) and has a weird moment where he talks about introvert fuckers and says he couldn't teach (Really weird to call someone else an introvert fucker when you specifically picked your condo because it was in a gated private community and go out once a week at best). Mocks the guy as an idiot who couldn't get a job programming.

5) Smugly gloats how all his peers in programming are probably burger flippers at McDonald's beacuse the tech bubble has burst and their degrees are worthless. Lucky for him he flipped to finance, which he then proceeds to trash as well and calls his degree worthless because he couldn't get a job. Reasons? Didn't do any internships because his time management is awful and couldn't look for any jobs after the bank one.

I love how he says his peers in programming all have worthless degrees and are flipping burgers, while he had a business degree and went into debt and has no job lmao DSP doesn't realize that he just fucking owned himself. Those programmers might be flipping burgers, my nigga, but at least they're working.

I'm also very skeptical of him saying he got skeeved out working for Wells Fargo in the naughts because they were a predatory lender. He could not have possibly cared less if that was the case, he almost certainly wouldn't have known it was going on, that's assuming it was even going on during that specific short time he worked there.

I would really love a look into his college years, because even if he was Valedictorian at his sportsball private school, I doubt he was such an academic superman he pretends he is. I'm betting he was barely passing half his classes and was regularly coming in late or not at all.

Given his employment history and the trend of getting fired for being a general lazy asshole, you are absolutely right. Wells Fargo was covered on one of ALT's deepdives and his whole story didn't really line up. This whole lore is just DSP trying to seem moral.

Add in that Phil has the exact type of personaility/autism that lets him memorise defintions and understabding of that exact bullshit word salad he uses to this day no wonder he did will academically at a high school level. He's regressed intellectually since then, remember when he spilled a glass of water and Phil blamed the glass of water for choosing to spill. A bit of PL here, but I can do 2 miles in 18 minutes if I push myself a little. I'm not particularly fit but you know, just regular active. The idea of Phil's fat ass running two laps on me like that Captain America scene is so ludicrous. I'm sure that 5 miles in 25 minutes is close to an Olympian athlete or at least a high performance athlete.

For men ages 18 to 28; maximum score for the Marine Corps PFT is 3 miles in 18 minutes, you lose 1 point for every... ... ... 6 or 10 seconds after, IIRC. I'm not gonna say everyone does it, because we don't, my best time ever was 20:20, while in the best shape of my life at the age of 24 and even then I wanted to fucking die after it.

If you're doing a 5 minute mile and strong enough to do it for 5 miles straight, you either are or getting close to being an Olympian. But not just that, he doesn't have a runner's frame/build, and going by younger pics, never did. Now let's get down to autism; a 5 minute mile would be moving at 12/mph. this is still the most absurd shit I've ever heard. I'm not saying you're a liar, but the strongest guy I know, who can easily bench 250 with no issue, says he could only run 1 mile in 6 minutes. that would put him at exactly the cusp of hitting 3 miles in 18 minutes if he did it perfectly. that's nuts. i only ever did 1 mile in 11 minutes because im an ugly gamer.

Still hard to belief that DSP would be the best of anything (or on average) in a group of 147 people. It's an indictment of that school or the school system if the dozens of kids much smarter than DSP didn't manage to flourish in the environment.
