The ironic part is that professionalism when interacting with fans and not attacking them was one of the things Zak and others in CG where advocating for in the early days of CG.

This is pure speculation and 100% a shot in the dark but I have a hunch that instead of taking a flat payment for his cover like everyone else, he insisted on an incentives based deal (probably under the advise of EVS) because with sales Rippaverse is getting, he probably looked at Eric like a money mark and thought he could get more money outta him vs taking the flat payment. But what Shane didn't know, and why hes super assblasted mad, is that Rippa probably never told him his plan to keep his cover to a strict limit which would make it impossible for him to hit his "incentives" and he just let Shane negotiate against himself like a dummy. So in a roundabout way, he tried to pull a fast one on a comicbook rookie and ended up screwing himself. I have no proof but thats why I think hes mad about his deal with Rippa. The whole "you charged my fans 100$ for my cover" is just cope because he literally signed away his rights to complain about what hes really mad about.

But Zach got away from EVS at the right time, He made a shit load of campaigns and fulfilled most of them, good bad or, Late. So I can respect him.

He's legit mental. And the Etsys JDA took it waaayyy too far. There was a mean spirit behind it that was ugly.

There was a "mean spirit" because Liam used to threaten people all the time, and flag their content down for false or disingenuous reasons. Let's not kid ourselves here, Liam did a lot to earn that hate from a variety of different groups and people.

And it was very much an eclectic variety. It wasn't just the Etsy's and JDA. It was also CG-proper, anti-CG (i.e. D&V), the Slums, the Farms, etc. Everybody faced the wrath of the Orange Tyrant and reacted like you might expect.

Hell, at times Liam would sperg out so hard, he even managed to get people who otherwise don't like each other to morally support one another. Like the time one of JDA's campaigns got hit by Liam, and even Dean called B.S.. Or the time @COMMI3 MARK put out that video where he basically said "fuck you Liam for making me feel sympathy for JDA."

So, I don't feel bad for laughing at Liam years ago. I suspect not many people do. He was, and presumably still is, an obnoxious sped.

That said, it's 2024, it's played out, and FROG is a fag for bringing Liam back into the fold when the best thing for both Liam and everybody else would be for him to fuck off. If Liam turns on FROG again, and causes problems for CG, they get what they fucking deserve.
