Stream gets viewbotted, Phil goes off on several 5 minute long tangents about how it’s not affecting the stream, and how dumb the detractors are for doing it. Followed by a couple of ban fests, because the dents are talking about it, AND ITS AGAINST THE RULES!
The ability of this man to contradict himself never ceases to impress me.

Phil is still seething that his Spiderman shattered dimensions playthrough no longer appears on Youtube when you search "Spideman video game". Forget about the 7 Spiderman games that have been released since, people were clearly looking for a 13 year old video of someone pointing a camera at the screen. Booksmart Youtube at it again.
Because he still wants the old YouTube where if someone clicked on your video, you got paid for that view, not realizing that Phil could never pivot to change. He loves remaining stagnant and like I mentioned before, you have to DRAG Phil to do a HINT of change, but even that "Looks, guys! You've been asking me to do this for years and now I'm doing it..."but what Phil calls "hard work", I call it giving so much little of a fuck. Jesus, my pinky toe works harder than Phil.

Also, I remember that one rant where he got like a 1,000 views on a video and how he made three cents on it....and he was laughing about the ridiculous of it. Uh, yeah! Hell, you can go into your Studio, look at your metrics, and go off of that. Like most people that actually learned to use the metrics in their Studio, he just spammed crap with ZERO effort, and wanted maximum profit.

Someone mentioned this about how they watched Snake Eyez and how he was adapting to their opponent, while Phil has tried to use Zangief and was getting mad that he can't get that character to master. Phil is all about emulating a game plan, style, etc...fails dramatically, and when it doesn't work out like he wants, he gets upset. The reason it doesn't work out is because once he gets comfortable, he gets stuck in that playstyle, while people have already pivoted to something else.

Point being, Phil can't adapt to change and he refuses to adapt to change. Hell, he's still running Windows 7 on his desktop. As for why he won't update it? "Because it works just fine." Not realizing that is such a HUGE security risk, any Security Analyst is going "Are you fucking retarted! Yes. Yes, you are."

He wants things to remain the same, but gin brain can't understand why things change. Oh, well.

I wouldn't say he's completely wrong, just might be saying the wrong thing. This is all speculation, so always free to call me a retard. First, I wouldn't be surprised if YouTube has methods to throttle viewbotted channels out of the algorithm; it's against the rules sure, but there's no doubt in my mind, they can watch and see what accounts have been occupied by a bot-net. All they would need to do is implement an account flag; have it to where if it's flagged, its actions aren't counted in the backend algorithm and metrics. Then maybe every 6 months to a year, just have an account purge for whoever's flagged. Again, all speculation, feel free to tell me I'm wrong. But with that in mind, since Phil doesn't leave his stream up, and decides to cuts it up and then upload individual segments, he's probably looking at it in a purely view/monetary way; the bots don't donate during the stream, and they're not gonna go back and watch his bullshit he uploads, ergo, they don't matter/they're not affecting the stream.

Point being, Phil can't adapt to change and he refuses to adapt to change. Hell, he's still running Windows 7 on his desktop. As for why he won't update it? "Because it works just fine." He's lucky his trolls aren't as bad as Wings's trolls are. I would never suggest doing this, in fact I'll even tell you that doing this is a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and is a felony, and we should all be good little boys and girls. That being said, he's lucky with as much shit as he's gotten with people getting into his accounts, he's lucky no one's gotten ahold of his IP Address and actually dropped something malicious into his devices and have them burn themselves out to where he'd have to use his phone to stream and cry poor.

Always surprises me that dsp a former "pro fighting game player" doesnt seem to grasp the concept of competitive. In games like a fighting game, people will always gravitate to either their favorites or the best character for the season. Which is why research is important if you want to climb, that way you can find ways to counter/play around characters. Mind you im not a fighting game player, im just using logic from competitive in general and apply it here. Same goes for shooters with the best guns and perks. Racing games with the best cars. Sports with the best teams. Which is why people are sweaty/intense because they want to climb and the only way to do that consistently is by playing the best. Dsp fails to grasp this and thinks ranked is just casual with points and funny titles.

LMAO Why is he even shocked!? He told fans his videos dropped off of YouTube search himself!

Just to piss Phil off.

Which isn’t hard to do. His streams are his little safe space, (and his BUSINESS!) so anything that even mildly interferes with it, no matter how harmless, will rile him up in to a fit of porcine rage.

It never fails: Stream gets viewbotted, Phil goes off on several 5 minute long tangents about how it’s not affecting the stream, and how dumb the detractors are for doing it. Followed by a couple of ban fests, because the dents are talking about it, AND ITS AGAINST THE RULES!
detractors gain nothing by doing it and only help him so I believe it's a phan.
Yet another delusions of gran-door/midlife crisis segment. Did you guys know that Phil invented playthroughs and Youtube shorts but "these people" don't want him to get credit for it? It's no wonder he has a problem with the woman protagonist in the new AnalCreed game but not the black dood, his WE WUZing would put even the most unhinged Black Israelite to shame.
he is soooooooooo desperate for drama.

DSP talking about Deeritch in chat prior to the prestream. Will cross post in Derich's thread.

It’s never not weird when he starts typing out these mini diatribes defending the little pedo. Like yeah, he did the token “I have to ignore him sometimes blah blah blah” but, but he wouldn’t do that shit for any other dent, unless he was subtly defending a retard like OIC or something.

Thing of it is, isn’t the only time Derich gave him money was when he took his mom’s card or something? So he’s defending a chatter this hard that never really financially supports him, and it’s not only weird, it’s fucking creepy. Maybe they both share “cute little girl” playlists.

In regards to the view botting, you can't convince me that he isn't botted all the time, which would also make sense why his content is hammered down by YouTube's algorithms.

The clearest evidence of this is when he was playing COD last year and Comcast was flipping off/on his Internet... every time this happened, his viewers would dip to about 150-200 at most, and when the video was working again, magically back up to 350-400. And this was for a daytime stream too. Not as obvious as whatever is going on now, but would also explain why he almost never has more than 25-30 people "chatting" at a time, even for popular games.

Also one thing I've come to realize about DSP... him still making money isn't even worth thinking about, or getting mad over, regardless of who is whaling out on him. It's actually funnier that he's being kept afloat by a small number of people instead of ever growing a fanbase. I stumbled upon him after a long break about this time last year (during the Jinx/vest streak 2.0), and its the same thing now. Streams without whales struggle to hit $50. His only "successes" at life have been the matter of right place right time (making 6 figures off YT views, buying a house when he did), and even with those, Phil Burnell himself flushed the positives of those things away. No detractor or troll or evilAJ or any company.

Another example of Phil and his stagnation (using a streamer who mainly streams 1 game but also does some variety too, and is predominately a Twitch streamer, but unlike Phil, uploads unique content to YT and uses a separate channel for Twitch vlogs):

YT channel views last 3 years: 28.4M
DSP channel views last 3 years: 22.3M

YT channel subscribers last 3 years: 20k
DSP channel subscribers last 3 years: 124k

Total YT videos: 653 (+ some recent live streams)
DSP total YT videos: 65160 (+ live streams)

This person gets whaled out a lot on Twitch, and has hit 10k subs on there, but typically maintains a base. Thing is, that base has at least grown (from about 1500 to 3000 to about 5000 now). DSP, when members were listed, almost always had a baseline of 400, and if he wasn't whaled out, was right back around that number. The last time members were a thing, he had about 800 members, of which 400 were gifted during the month of December.

But like he said the other day, he doesn't aspire for anything more, which is crystal clear. It's also funny that his biggest struggle in life is making sure he doesn't scare away any whales, and we all know he's failed at that too.

I know there's been some talk about the viewbotting going on. But last night's stream had up to 18k viewers. What do you think the goal could be of the dent or alog doing this, how extreme might it get and how long might it go on?
I assumed it was to then report his channel for viewbotting and try to get him a strike on YT.

why would his home internet being cut off affect that though? that would imply he's running his own bot farm out of his middle unit condo

So, how much less money does Phil make today, to about 5-6 years ago? I feel back then, he always got good amounts. Nowadays there are streams where he barely makes anything.

Is DSP really considering playing Lethal Company or will he toss it out as a troll vote because he's too incompetent to play a game as stupidly simple as LC? I really can't imagine him doing well in that game even in multiplayer, because he's just way too stupid for it. Got a feeling he'd just use it to validate his dogshit opinion that all trending games are just shitty meme games and irreverent without shills and fake gamers playing them.

Lethal Company won't happen. You don't need voice chat, but that is a huge part of the game, and a lot of random lobbies would boot him for not communicating. Streamers are rightfully worried about people saying a no-no word but most get around it by playing with people they know. Phil can't do this for obvious reasons.

You would think he wouldn't, but you also would think the same of Phasmophobia which is another coop game that requires VC. He played it and purposely acted like a jerkoff out of spite wasting both his time and his viewers. Because of that I'm pretty sure he'll play Lethal Company, after all he loves being a spiteful piece of shit especially towards his viewers. 'You WANTED this!'

Well DSP pulled the ol' switcheroo with Helldivers 2 again. QNA instead of playing the game. Cool. So why did you even include it on your schedule? Unless you were insisting on the qna when you nullified the poll you did by claiming trolls rigged it for you to actually play the fuckin' game you scheduled for.

Anyway

Did some napkin math and he has what, 30 hours of stream time a "work" week for him(6 days) and counting prestreams on both day and night(15 minutes usually of qna bullshitting), his piss breaks that are absurdly long after the day prestream, and the react day its lookin like around 17 hours give or take giving all the micro stalling tier tactics he's been doing

I'm curious what you guys can pull. Maybe you might have a different number but to me, its looking like he wastes a little over half his stream time doing jack shit and yapping his fuckin mouth off like a running lawnmower sitting idle.
