At that point, you can't even cope about enjoying whiskey that high percentage for taste reasons, that must just taste like cleaning fluid.
It actually has more of a flavor profile than you would expect, not that Nick can taste anything at this point. It's one of the few bourbons I would call a sipping whiskey.

It's fairly customary for higher quality bourbons to be bottled at barrel proof (most is diluted with water down to something like 80). I'd recommend this with a tiny amount of slivered clear ice.

Needless to say, Nick probably just chugs it like a homeless faggot sucking Old Crow out of a plastic bottle as eagerly as he sucks a dick.

Nick has read on "the internet" that all his friends have bailed on him

Funny, I heard from EVS (and so did Nick) that Nick was the one who bailed on his friends.

What a nasally, whiny psycho.
According to Nick only psychopaths don't make everyone else's problems all about them...

Nick also doesn't trust anyone else to solve problems. He says it with a smirk, but it complements the way he elevates himself as a husband and father as the most dependable person in the family unit (he did this when he spoke with EVS too). It makes Nick come off as controlling and makes Kayla out to be unreliable.

If Kayla can demand Nick spend at least half his day driving their kids then Nick and Kayla don't have a reference for even a single-income household. Neither of them consider Nick's streaming to be a real job which, considering that neither of them have persistent employment, is very telling.

If Nick's depiction of his home-life is accurate, then there is nothing Nick does that Kayla has to respect. Everything Nick does has to make way for Kayla's desires. Nick is the one who has to respect her mental/physical health and the children's schedules because: "I Will Be Us". Even if this isn't accurate, but merely Nick's perspective, then Nick makes Kayla out to be his biggest stressor since the slack he has to pick up is largely hers.

Of course Nick would never resent Kayla for it. Nick probably wishes her a million dollars while he makes time with other women in accordance with their lifestyle.

I hope there is a Hell so he gets to burn there.
Hell is a place where FUNNY and WEIRD times are perpetually just one more drink, one more line, one more coom away. And there's a man of wealth and taste who set up a trust fund for you.
Nick's going to "just one more" himself into a Cenobite. He's already halfway there.

"You finally placed the Lament Balldo around your scrotum. We have such sights to show you"

You have to wonder, if trad Nick was always a way for him to get off, to fool the plebs, if this was all an act. An act, like not being a trustfund spoiled shit. Or where the turn happened, if it did. By his own admission, he's been pornsick since high school (or before).

who can say. perhaps he had certain... proclivities... but I really think a large part of it is the alcohol and substance abuse. It has a way to peeling back the layers, encouraging the worst aspects of yourself to come to the forefront.

Raccoons are a lot of bluffing, even when they have babies near attacks are very rare. They really are pretty easy to deal with for non-retards. Luckily don’t know much/have experience with weasels or worse pests. Certainly no need to start killing them like that psycho Rekieta, actual freak that can’t feel like a man any other way.

Faggots. Gay men are narcissistic perverts.
Raccoons are the devil and carry rabies a lot. They leave pieces of neighborhood cats in my yard and driveway and I do not like them.

Playing a bit of "Devils Advocate" here. It struck me that Nick was uniquely positioned at a company who dealt in various financial instruments and investments during the 2007-2008 financial bubble burst. He also had family wealth that if he were well advised, could have been invested to reap quite large benefit.

Is there an outside chance, that Nick was able to advise his parents/grandparents trust to pick up foreclosed properties (real estate) since at this time mortgage-backed securities collapsed in value? I know of more than one person who was able to pick up real estate at pennies on the dollar and secure their wealth so they could basically retire and live off of rents. Essentially Landlord class.
Just wondering.

This still makes Nick a guy born with a silver spoon, but could explain the whole "large house no apparent income" dilemma. Nick may have helped grow the family trust by being in a position to pick up foreclosed properties for cheap. It would be interesting to know how many properties are controlled by the Rekeita's under one name or another.
ETA:
Dude. He was an exceedingly low-level employee. I posted a couple current-day job descriptions. Answering phones was high in the list of duties.

They're doing you a favor by getting rid of stray cats
They also got rid of my chickens that were locked in their coop for the night behind three layers of fencing and a latched door.

Sorry, I really don’t mean to defend nick’s behavior but I have been woken up at 2AM to the last screams of a hen too many times to feel that bad. Bludgeoning them with a hammer obviously points to sociopathy from Nick but the raccoon would do worse to you if it could.

I’m not coon-guarding but do we know if Nick ever had any housepets? If yes then maybe he was just overreacting in the middle of the night and keeping the coons away from his pets cut into his balldo time.

If no then he was probably always a sociopath.

Don't know if anyone has posted this already but I was watching a clip from Kino Casino were Wings accuses Nick of being addicted to pain pills.

It made me think remember when he bought a Mustang and immediately crashed it over a year ago? He could have been prescribed opioids for the pain

It would seem that this is a fair time for opioid addiction to really affect him physically (apparently addiction starts within 2 weeks of use) and explains why he's supplementing with alcohol and taking random time off all the time to deal with withdrawal

it would track with how only opioids could make his eyes pinpricks.....

if he's actually mixing alcohol, uppers, and opioids throughout his days yeah I gotta wonder how is any doctor passing him a clean bill of health that's not healthy at any age especially not at 40+

Personally, my favorite scenario is he wins on his retarded and incredibly expensive attempt to enforce Colorado's anti-SLAPP law in Minnesota, then loses even having won on that, because he'd get a swollen head in the interim.
I still think this is the likely outcome. Judge gets told to apply CO law and says "nope, still looks like defamation.

The funny part is that all the discovery isn't done. Monty still has the RICO claim. We may still have a great harvest this fall.

Frankly, I dunno know why so many people here are adverse to the idea it's opioids.

Yeah, for a while there I thought Randazza's strategy was an extreme longshot, but going by oral arguments is seems like he might pull this off.

If that happens, it guess it means Randazza accomplished what he was paid to do, and it's quite the feather in his cap, but it might still all be for naught on Nick's end.

Gonna be interesting to see how this ultimately plays out.
