Yasuke wasn't a main character in Nioh, faggot.Anyway. Yasuke appeared in both games, as a main character holding a major spirit. Even William was holding a major spirit in Nioh 2 and you had to defeat him to get it.
Wasn't he caught by Akechi because he was fleeing the battle Nobunaga died in? Or was that just Jesuit bullshit?Yasuke was not a noble, samurai, or even respected. He was a fucking water boy whom was promptly killed when his caretaker died.
Irc he was spared by one of the higher ranking samurai from the forces opposing Nobunaga. He was told something along the lines of "a beast shouldn't be slain because of it's masters misdeeds". He was then sent packing back to the jesuits and that is literally where the story ends, there are no more mentions of him lol. Records on him are pretty shoddy so nobody knows what actually transpired during his time in Japan, but what can be established from what there is is basically... he was in Japan for approximately 15 months, Nobunaga was fascinated by his black skin, he served Nobunaga for less than a year, he was given some privileges much to the chagrin of other samurai, he was described as being strong and tall, he was spared death and fled.Yasuke was not a noble, samurai, or even respected. He was a fucking water boy whom was promptly killed when his caretaker died.
No that's also true, he was killed while fleeing after the honni-ji incidentWasn't he caught by Akechi because he was fleeing the battle Nobunaga died in? Or was that just Jesuit bullshit?
This is very accurate, but yasuke was in Japan for 3 years that they can account for he was only a retainer for 15 months but had been in country with the jesuits doing missonary work.Irc he was spared by one of the higher ranking samurai from the forces opposing Nobunaga. He was told something along the lines of "a beast shouldn't be slain because of it's masters misdeeds". There is no evidence to suggest he WAS a samurai, nor that he actively fought in any battles. His story has been severely pumped up for no other reason than he was black. Williams Adams for example actually was awarded the title of samurai and contributed tremendously to Japanese history.
A lot of people overlook the fact Nobunaga was known for being eccentric and collecting oddities too, which would probably not look good for the people pushing the narrative that Yasuke was some badass respected samurai warrior.
He was a boss wasn't he? And you got to beat his ass as the white european man William Adams. lol.Yasuke wasn't a main character in Nioh, faggot.
Well, the Jesuit narrative was that he was let go because Akechi didn't see it fit to kill an animal or have Japanese laws apply to someone who isn't Japanese. No that's also true, he was killed while fleeing after the honni-ji incident
Yes exactly. He came there with jesuits as a missionary or sonthe story is told. I believe he was most likely a slave that was "exonerated" by Nobunaga for being a nig.Well, the Jesuit narrative was that he was let go because Akechi didn't see it fit to kill an animal or have Japanese laws apply to someone who isn't Japanese.
AnalCreed used to have a coherent story but then the main creators left after either 2, Brotherhood or Revelations so the series just became an annual Ubislop tower climbing moneymaker until it eventually became an excuse to put niggers and girlboss women who look like troons into every single great time period and culture in history.I replayed 2 and brotherhood a while back. They really did something few other games have. Genetic memory, history being fabricated to an extensive degree, and an eternal shadow war of ideology revolving around magic-like technology all blended together to create a distinct existential atmosphere. Not horrific or philosophical but an interesting portrayal of human existence.
Ezio hearing Desmond's name was the highest peak of the series, and that was forever ago. That put all the irregularities together. I don't think there's been a better plot twist in any other game. Just perfect.
and then we all know what happened
Cultural Colonialists/ConquistadorsFrench company takes another countries culture and alters it to fit their cultural views. Isn't there a term for that?
She has a fucking expertise in Yaoi, she isn't just a goddamn expert Fujoshi, but a specific expert of BL shotacon of all things. What do you even do with this sort of study in Japan? Write a university thesis on fucking Boku no Pico?I wonder if they’ll continue the habit (since Odyssey, though I believe they ruined Jacob Frye like this too) of faggot protags with Yasuke. You just know half the people beating their chest over this will get real quiet then.
ETA:
The “Japanese expert” they hired is a Japanese fag history professor. You couldn’t make this up with a million years and a crystal ball.
Note the pedos being framed as a good thing.

He’s gonna be gay, and for sure the Kunoichi.

I fucking love this, the guy isn't even Japanese, he's Korean. He's moral-fagging & virtue-signalling for this shit while he's literally from the country that possibly seethes about Japan the most to this day to the point of ridiculousness, if not mockery (if you ever want an example for the term "colonial hangover", look no further than Korea). From Grummz's post, Senior IGN editor Matt Kim is defending his Assassin's Creed Shadow clickbait article while going on a rampage.

He "cares" about Japanese representation.

Apparently the new narrative is: "you hate black people and women".Some folks in the comments sections of that article are calling out the actual cultural appropriation and they're just getting responses like "cry harder, bro" and "you only care because he's black". It's all so tiresome.
His take was peak unhinged too.Cultural Colonialists/Conquistadors

Also, then there's that "Schmidt"

You can't make this shit up, it's like pottery.

Also, his bio says 교포 which means "overseas Korean", or "Korean resident abroad". He's Korean American.
he was a stage boss sure, one of about 100 or so. He was a little oddity, and I am not sure if he even said anything. Just one of the many generic tough enemies the game had plenty off.He was a boss wasn't he? And you got to beat his ass as the white european man William Adams. lol.
