Interesting. I've been away from the thread since it first kind of started, so I haven't been following as close to the findings.

I guess what I was trying to convey with my initial post was that whe was possibly hired by the Biden campaign and given a label, but never actually did anything. Seeing as she was dumb enough to somehow get her Twitter "hacked" while performing an incredibly simple setup process that should have been done on a clean thin client with incredibly limited Internet access, I just don't see anyone giving her any actual power.

I just like the idea that Putin's so petty that even though he's in the middle of a war he still has time to get some actor punched for some reference in a show from nearly fifteen years ago. Like he wanted to take some time off from the war by binging some old HBO show and he sees that shit and orders everybody to drop everything.

The vast majority of people "hired" by a political campaign are unpaid volunteers. When you are working a phone bank, you can basically call yourself whatever you want within reason. Anyone paid takes away from advertising budgets.

The reason people volunteer is for networking purposes and gaining experience and hopefully, if your guy wins, you can worm your way into a job in the administration, but that is only for the most connected.

Chances are, no one making actual decisions had any idea who Jackie was until they got asked about her online antics and they told her to go away and stop using them as a reference.

Jackie may have been temporarily hired by the campaign because there are various FEC rules regarding what volunteers can do versus vendors or employees regarding distribution of funds, it's not uncommon for volunteers who display capability to be put on payroll even temporarily for various reasons. Why this would have applied to Jackie I cannot tell you. Only she or the Biden campaign could confirm what her actual status was. And I wouldn't believe her about it.

Incidents like this one, and the thing with the smoke detector in the hotel, genuinely think that she is descending into full-blown paranoid psychosis. It's very common in Cluster B personality disorders, particularly NPD. Something similar is happening to Pat, but much more slowly.

Basically the psychosis is triggered by repeated narcissistic injury. Jackie has taken L after L in the last year or so, particularly getting slapped down by the FBI over her faildox of TorSwats, but also her laughable "presentation" to that conference and probably more that we don't know about. She's not getting the speaking/consultancy gigs any more, word about her past and her present is spreading. In order to protect her ego and self-belief, she has to maintain that she is right and a genius to boot. When presented with evidence that they're just fat losers, NPD people will go into denial, if the evidence is strong enough they will enter an increasingly delusional state and start dissociating, living in a fantasy world where they're the successful super-genius they always thought they were. Co-morbid with this is increasing paranoia - Jackie has always presented as paranoid, of course, but in this case the paranoia is serving to bridge the gap between her inflated self-image and the reality she experiences. Jackie is a genius, but Jackie is also a fat loser hiding from the IRS in the jungle who the FBI called a retard - the only explanation must be a huge conspiracy against her. It's the only possible explanation as to why she has failed, because Narc Jackie believes herself to be perfect.

In summary: Haha Jackie's own failure is literally driving her insane.
