I don’t think anyone watches them for their nuanced takes, or to watch them carefully scrutinize the arguments for or against whether Nick is a Bible believing Christian or not.

It’s entertainment like anything else Rekieta. Folks watch them to hear the latest rumors.

yeah their Rekeita and iDubbbz sections always get a laugh or two out of me, it works well for the format they're going for especially now that the sektur is dying.

some might complain about them making things up but tbh its kinda easy to tell when they're just joking around making up an absurd scenario (that sometimes ends up being pretty close to the truth). lolcow coverage is not serious business I don't care about the professional journalistic standards in covering drunk buffoons like rackets, if I want "factually accurate!" content ill bore myself to death with cog

I've been watching them more the last month or so, what I like is that they make these long lolcow videos watchable. I struggle to get through 15 seconds of Nick speaking (or Anisa and IDubbbz) without my brain going "holy shit stfu." Nick's insane ramblings are grating to my ears, but Andy and PPP have figured out that if you lay on the color commentary really heavily, you can actually make the insane ramblings watchable, and even entertaining. Pausing the video every 5 seconds to lambaste Nick makes them watchable for me. I can only handle certain lolcows in very small bites, but I can listen to the two of them spend two hours trashing what was a 50 minute segment.

Their streams have been getting better, and they have the odd good one liner that genuinely makes me laugh while I'm working. Paraphrasing: "He's literally turning into felt!"

Edit: @Seanut Arbuckle "making stuff up" that was one of the reasons I didn't really listen to them in the past, because of this reputation, but from what I have listened to lately I wouldn't say they are doing this. With the type of content they are leaning into now, I don't think they really need to make anything up anymore, beyond obvious comedic scenarios.

I don't think so at this point, while Rekeita content is hot rekeita has become too inward to start a sector. If you take Kino (or for that matter the Rekieta circus) 100% seriously, you not only need an autism check. You should, if you’re any kind of even halfway decent person, also be on hold with the CPS every day, to report things like “Children are starving and being fed spaghetti O’s by the cuck, while the parents are doing coke and having orgies in the basement… Also there’s a local church where all of the children are being sexually abused!””
