I can't figure out why reports over the weekend were saying they wanted to limit Biden's speaking and public appearances..... Apparently Biden was VP during the pandemic and President Obama sent him to Detroit to fix it.

Another 4 years of this would be must-see TV any time he's in public, so it won't all be bad
Red Lobster is an icon tho, people will be angry and ask questions.
Pretty sure people have been asking questions for at least a decade. Like "how the hell is Red Lobster still open?"

So far today we know Michael Cohen stole from Trump, he also recorded conversations with news outlets(without their knowledge) that Trump knew nothing about the Stormy Daniels payments and he was saying this all the way until 2018 until the feds raided his house. We also got a nice tidbit where Michael Cohen admitted to meeting with Democrat Dan Goldman twice before testifying and lying to congress. Former US prosecutor on CNN says she is shocked by Alvin Bragg's incompetence and that this basically torpedoed his entire case.

is that person on the left next to the horse a tranny, or what? i don't keep up with CNN lore, no idea who that is, but yikes

Why even say anything? Just say that old nothing "we are monitoring the situation" and be done with it. People already suspect Israeli-American fuckery why play into it?

Oh yeah because they are room temperature IQ.
Nobody who isn't a "Jews control the weather"-tier schizo actually thinks Israel or the US were involved. It was a 50 year old helicopter design maintained with whatever 2nd hand parts Iran could smuggle in around sanctions that was flying through mountains covered in thick fog. Kobe died in far more forgiving conditions than that.
I understand that group is overrepresented on this site, but it's far from a common political opinion.

Uhhhh, Jikes, conspiracy theorist. This has already been debuuuuunked.

He was asked if Israel or US could be blamed for the crash. He answered that US had no part in it. Curious what he left out. After the reporter asked again, he refused to answer on whether or not Israel could be responsible.

A lot of places aren't really showing this angle. People know the guy died on a heli crash and that is it. They are assuming that it was a modern helicopter and on a regular flight.

See he video Useful_Mistake posted for a good example of these people acting like complete retards. Dude could have quickly thrown the facts about the helo being ancient and the weather being garbage out there. Maybe thrown a joke about Iran invoking Jewish Space Lasers to blame Israel.

No, he instead comes off as shifty and weirdly specific denial about the USA having no role on it but unable to comment on Israel.

wasn't that sell/lease bullshit part of what did in Toys R Us and Sears?

I would guess so. It sounds like all of them were the target of "Private Equity" which is kinda like house flipping. But for corporations, and where you can actually destroy the house you bought and somehow get more money from selling the scrap and ruble than if you had refurbished it and sold.

This is a pretty good video explanation of the phenomenon.

It has some good stories of it working out, but shows how the average company can expect to be butchered for scrap after a years long spiral into lower quality, worse products, mass pajeet-ification of workforce and psychological torture of constantly demanding employees provide more profit with less expenses.

Correct. Sears owner Eddie Lampert bought Kmart when coming out of bankruptcy for pennies on the dollar, then sold most of the valuable real estate to finance buying Sears. Then he created a new real estate company called Seritage (literally named pretty much after Sears). He sold all the rest of the company owner Sears and Kmart real estate to Seritage, which then jacked up rent, accelerating the store closures.

In 4 weeks of putting on a case the only crime established in any way is that the prosecution's star witness stole $30,000 from Donald Trump and not only did they not charge him, they let him keep the money

All the :story:

I cant parse the stormy daneils case and cohen who is cohen and what is his testimony doing to derail the trial?
TDLR : "Orange man bad! Put Orange man in jail. No we dont have evidence, But ORANGE MAN BAD"

Ok, fair, I did fail to take into account how people aren't info addicts like me and most of them are just extrapolating from the headline and all.

Wasn't Lampert also a huge objectivist and installed a lot of intra-company employee competition incentives that tore apart a lot of stores, or am I thinking of a different CEO they had?

I recall one behind-the-scenes thing that's pointed to as a bigger underlying cause to Disney World going to shit was each shop had to start pulling its own weight individually, which murdered stuff that was mostly just there for show like the antiques shop in Liberty Square and kneecapped anybody who wasn't a park merch store

When a store in a valuable location closed, Seritage would redevelop into 3-4 units and lease them out individually for even more. The best parts of Sears and K-mart warehousing and logistics assets were spun off into a 3PL also owned by Lampert.
