It's kind of a slow newsweek so I could sperg about local drama again. I did mention this briefly half a year ago, but antifascist activists murdered a woman here some time ago. it wasn't over politics, but drugs. Here's a shortened, translated bit from
Partisaani:
The couple: Soyjak and a hamplanet
A 35-year-old woman was found dead in her home in Pietniemi, Pori, on the morning of February 5. The police soon tracked down the suspect,
Timo Juhani Salonen (b. 1.12.1997) was arrested on probable grounds on suspicion of manslaughter and aggravated robbery. Salonen has been convicted several times before in the Satakunta district court.
Partisaani already reported in February that, based on social media, Salonen is in a relationship with
Jelena Kiilholma , a local politician from the leftist union and an avowed anti-fascist . Kiilholma is not only one of Pori's key left-wing activists, but she has written about feminism in People's News, among others. Kiilholma has been involved in the boards of various associations since the age of 15.
Kiilholma, who calls herself a "thick escort", has distinguished herself by sharing antifa material on social media and even lashing out at nationalist street activists in her hometown.
The victim was locked in the bathroom to die from her injuries
As the preliminary investigation progressed, the ugly details of the murder began to dawn on the authorities. At the same time, it became clear that Kiilholma was not only the main suspect's partner, but also a perpetrator herself. Between the start of the preliminary investigation and the start of the trial, the main crime had changed from manslaughter to murder. The prosecutor demands a life sentence for Salonen not only for murder but also for robbery and drug offences.
In court, it was emphasized that the victim of the murder was a 35-year-old mother of two children. The victim had contacted Kiilholma's husband using the Telegram messaging application and suggested exchanging a Playstation game console for amphetamine.
Iltalehti describes the exceptionally brutal murder as follows: "According to the prosecutor, the man cut his victim in the neck and stomach, kicked her in the jaw and dragged her around the apartment. The prosecutor considers that the man killed the victim in a particularly brutal and cruel way, using at least three different bladed weapons." After that, Salonen forced the victim to die from her injuries in the bathroom, stole the apartment's valuables and left the place.
According to the prosecutor, the left-wing prostitute Kiilholma, on the other hand, was guilty of the crime of concealment and the drug offense by, among other things, trying to hide goods stolen from the victim. Kiilholma defended herself by stating that she was not aware of the drugs in her home or the origin of the items stolen from the murder victim. A suspended prison sentence is requested for Kiilholma.
"I could hear the crunch coming from her jaw"
The defendants have denied most of the criminal charges. According to Salonen, the victim received wounds from a bladed weapon after cutting herself. According to Salonen, the victim was forced into the bathroom so that she would not continue to harm herself. In addition to the lack of logic, the credibility of Salonen's story is further reduced by the fact that his story differed in court from the version he told the police during the preliminary investigation.
Based on the preliminary investigation, we're not dealing with Mensa members. They sent each other photos related to the murder as well as text and voice messages through different applications, which made the work of the police significantly easier. "I wilded out and kicked her ass," Salonen stated in one message. "I could hear the crunch from her jaw when I kicked her," he also said.
The district court will inform about the verdict later.
