I’ve known a lot of homeless/drug addicts/alcoholics/combo of all three.

I also know that the only ones who seemed to miraculously recover and be somewhat normal had to become spiritual in some way. Many had spiritual experiences that really changed them in ways that therapy and drug intervention programs couldn’t.
