Munitions industry doubled 155mm shell production from 2022 to 2023 and is going to double or triple the 2023 level this year.
Now post the real numbers, faggot.

Where did it start? Oh, yeah, less than 15K 155mm HE a month CAPABILITY.

That's just HE.

Doubled? Ooooh, not 30K.

The DoD has admitted they need about about 100-200K HE shells in the 155mm range a month.

That's without getting into prop charges. What's that? Prop charge production is lagging? The M4A1 and M4A2 stocks are rapidly aging and crystallizing?

How about the fuzes? oh, shit, what's that? We're running short on those but it's being swept under the rug by the new rifle and the 155mm stories?

90K 155mm HE shells is fucking nothing. That doesn't count any of the other types of 155mm rounds, the 105mm rounds, the 8" rounds.

The DoD bought 4 155mm lines from the Turkish government and are trying to build the lines in Texas, but have run afoul of the EPA. Oops. The left hand forgot that the right hand is supposed to be doing something.

Those plants won't be online till 2025 at the earliest.

Just start reading that. Start with that, then start looking at real numbers.

If you start looking into the REAL numbers, it's fucking abysmal.

The old production lines from the Cold War AND the stockpiles are both gone. There are no more ASPs with hundreds of thousands of 155mm, 105mm, and 8" shells sitting in bunkers. Those days ended in the 1990s with the drawdowns.

The Potato Snatchers are firing an estimated 7K rounds a month. In a near peer conflict it is estimated that 7K would be a DAILY expenditure for an artillery battalion. 100K is NOTHING if the US Army has to go full bore. I had more than that in a single fucking bunker for a single fucking unit. (155mm is 8 to a small pallet for bunkers, stacked 8 high, 40 wide, 40 deep or by lot number, whichever is smaller, until the bunker is packed, then move the next lot number to the next bunker)

That's not even taking into account the amount that's used every month just to keep units qualified. It's only 1X a year now, when it used to be 2X a year, but it's still a lot of 155mm hitting the impact range.

100K a month? It would take 5 YEARS to reload half of the US's stockpile if we went by the real numbers. that's only 1.2 million a year. Each military post of any size, not to mention the sheer arty posts, need 2X that ON HAND in the bunkers. Fort Hood alone had 10 million in the bunkers at the ASP. That means prop charges and fuses for them.

And that's ONLY HE. High. Fucking. Explosive. Not HIT, not Low-Ex, not FASCAM. Just HE.

Here's a short list. You can discount the Gray Ladies, we don't make them any more.

Stocks of aerial munitions (bombs, missiles both air-to-air and surface-to-air and surface-to-surface) are good and production increasing as well. US manufacturing would be the 8th largest economy in the world, just behind the total GDP of France, if it were its own country. Don't worry about stuff you've never done like making things
You mean like the Stinger missile? Which apparently nobody remembers how to make any more? That surface to air missile?

How about the H104, AKA the 6-pack 11" MRLS pods? You mean the ones that have had serious manufacturing defects in the fiberglass tube wraps in the last few years? How about the other rocket issues, with corporations unable to fulfil their promises they made to Ordnance Corps?

Oh, I know, how about the rifle ammuntion.

You ARE aware that we're in the middle of changing ammunition types and rifles, right? That the production lines are currently bogged down. That the rifle itself has only been officially rolled out to 2 units so far (AFAIK) and even then there is already severe ammunition shortages.

In non-Ordnance Corps news, how about the fact that some posts are having a hard time feeding their fucking troops. Fort Carson is the most public and well known example, where the chow hall is closed for kiosks, which run out of food in hours, meaning people don't get fed.

Or how about we look at the recruitment numbers? How about we look at the waivers and the changing of standards? How about we look at how they're trying to pull people back off of even the PDRL?

You can talk all the shit you want, but you aren't even a "My uncle works at Nintendo" faggot. You're some dipshit who has no idea the sheer numbers we're talking about for a sustained engagement.

You can talk shit if you've ever fucking inspected a 155mm round or repalletized binary chem rounds by hand.

Till then, you're a fucking retard who doesn't understand the sheer scale of a near peer conflict.

How is that even happening?

How are you, A Chinese person, fleeing China, ignoring India, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Crossing the Pacific, NOT EVEN LANDING IN THE USA but landing somewhere in South/Central America and then marching to the US border to sneak in illegally?

Logically how is that happening?
Easy, you exploit a massive loophole from/by a decrepit administration. The US is in debt to China anyway; they could sneak in and laugh at us with no repercussions. Every moment this immigration issue goes unaddressed gets me angrier.

I may be out of the loop a bit, why would Biden not be on the Ohio ballot? Would someone replace him or would it be a no contest Trump win

The parties have to submit their nominees to the state AG by a certain deadline. The democrats haven't submitted joe/kamala yet to be the democrat nominee on the ballot. So now the state is saying "hey fuckers, we need your official candidate names so we can get these ballots printed. If you don't give us anyone, we will print without a democrat presidential choice."

Is this supposed to discourage me? It makes me want to buy more bitcoin, not drop it.

And I'm really not sure why they're playing Chicken with this one. Is there some legitimate risk that doing their process early to submit it on time would somehow put them legally or procedurally at risk?

I can see why they think they'll win this game of chicken and force them to put a last minute exemption, but it seems like the kind of competition that's really not worth playing at.

Can you recommend a good place to watch the proceedings or see highlights? I've pretty much given up just searching for things on YouTube because all you find are 2 minutes of people talking about what you're going to see, 30 seconds of the actual thing whilst someone pauses it and tells you what you're seeing, then a couple minutes more of someone telling you what you've just seen.
I mostly follow Jonathan Turley on Twitter and Inside the Law on Youtube. Inside the Law is a Georgia lawyer who followed the Fanni Willis stuff close and shows up frequently on Megyn Kelly's show and Viva Frei on occasion.

Ohio Dem convention is after the ballot deadline, so right now Biden is in danger of not appearing on the Ohio ballot. In the (incredibly unlikely) event that this actually happens, it wouldn't be the worst thing for Biden since Trump's gonna win Ohio anyway, but it would spell disaster for Dems down-ballot (most notably the incumbent Senator Sherrod Brown, who already has to fight in a decidedly hostile environment).
It could also mean that Biden loses the popular vote but that means nothing.

The real issue is that he was a charismatic black hole who didn’t offer anything different than the incumbent candidate.

I liked watching him go to state fairs and diners and other prole spaces and try to choke down appalling prole food. They should give him a show on the Food Network. For his sins.

Also Ohio s dead line is very early and the parry conventions can happen after said dead line. Normally the parties would submit a form naming the provisional candidate or something gay like that.

Sounds like the DNC is just asleep at the wheel.

The guardian still running interference for sleepy joe and predditors just eat it up
My favorite part is the dnc bots simultaneously saying that wages have been too low for decades and the corporate class is screwing everyone over while also telling you that people shouldn't be complaining because "wages of the lowest earning workers have outpaced inflation" (which is the official whitehouse.gov party line and is not true) like 2 years of good wage growth completely negates those decades of suppressed wages you chuds. I also dug through that thread a little bit and didn't see even one person mentioning that the fed changed the definition of recession for the sleepy joe regime

The Obama campaign was riding a tidal wave of support to the white house in 2007 BEFORE the 2008 economic crash. Even back then the overwhelming opinion of the country was, "HOLY SHIT EVERYTHING SUCKS WE NEED CHANGE BECAUSE I AM FEELING CLOSE TO HOPELESS!" Okay, and then we have a huge economic crash that sets things back even further. Then along comes 2016 and everyone is like, "EVERYTHING STILL SUCKS WHY CAN'T SHIT BE GREAT INSTEAD OF SUCK! FUCK THIS SHIT!" and we get Trump. Nothing much gets done, and then we throw COVID on top of it and now we are still getting fucked hard by inflation and health care costs and rent and everything else. Now our options are still more Obama style bullshit and more Trump style bullshit.

I feel like politics has always been a clown show but both parties have failed to realize just how many people have stopped laughing. I really don't have a clue what the election after this one will be like but I see anti-establishment sentiment rising even further.

This is that fucking lunatic who posts clickbaity "X days until ToTaL CoLlApSe of CHINA!!" every week for years. I'm not listening to this sped.
Different channel bud. China Insights.

In order to conduct a military operation at the scale of the invasion of China we would need at minimum 5 million shells a month just in the battle of stalingrad the Germans dropped 2,000,000 bombs that's just bombs not carrying artillery shells mortars high explosive tank shelves grenades satchel charges

and it's also not counting the Soviet side the Germans also fired over 24 million rounds of ammunition

chinas insanely mountainous
everywhere we'd land where there's acceptable beaches to storm once you start going more inland you can encounter a large amount of basically very narrow mountain passes
there's a reason China is very hard to invade even if we went to North Korea we'd still encounter a large amount of mountains

good luck to anyone trying to move columns through mountainous regions that are controlled by your enemy there's a reason Russia can do what it can in Ukraine Ukraine is mainly flat same reason the United states America has a lot of natural choke points and it rapidly transitions to different climate zones you can drive 4 hours in America and encounter about every man made climate
invaded to California you gotta go through a desert then you have to go through Rocky Mountains then you have to go through Great Plains then you have to go through a desert then you might have to go through some wetlands

does the rise in China doesn't keep many troops on its border with India it's basically 90% mountains that are pretty much impassable besides the roads that they built

reminds me of when I was remodeling U.S. Army barracks is in Fort Drum I've never had to deal with more nasty moldy gutting work in my career as a Carpenter I don't know how people even living in some of those barracks and they only did this because people literally had sued and won against them

also I think I was being paid like four times more than the going rate of most soldiers who I had to deal with on a daily basis
I love government contract work it is the most overpaid simple stuff in the world

Also, America's demographics work so hard against it that spying is impossible. If you don't speak the local language, which may not be Mandarin, you get found out. If you're not even the least bit Chinese-looking, you get found out. What's the US military and Glow-ops made out of? A bunch of non-Chinese people. So even if beachheads are secured and the Chinese military is dispersed in battle, US forces still have a very hostile civilian population that will fuck Hagwei and Gweilo every chance they get. As we saw with Iraq, beating Saddam did nothing and if anything, made things worse for everyone involved.
