And yes, there's always Asians around Bockscar, you can tell if their Japanese or not by how happy they look.

The Sea Knight is smaller than I expected up-close. Maybe I'm used to comparing it to a Chinook.

(Tucson's Air Museum, Desert Museum, and hiking spots give it a cool factor that may or may not cancel out the liberals and bad drivers).

Super fuckin late but the last image you posted is a 90’s reimagining of the famous 1897 Charles R. Knight painting called “Leaping Laelaps”, depicting two specimens of the theropod dinosaur now known as Dryptosaurus fighting each other. The painting is notable for being one of the first depictions of dinosaurs as active and fast-moving creatures, long before such a perception was widely popularized to science.

The oceans and seas are incredible things of beauty. Of particular importance are the stunning coral reefs, which act as a protection mechanism to coastlines and a home to an array of ecosystems. Here are 6 of the most beautiful in the world.

1) Great Barrier Reef - Australia

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most beautiful reefs in the world and it’s also the largest. The reef comprises over 3,000 individual reef systems, complete with abundant colorful marine life and 400 types of coral. Situated off the coast of Queensland, the reef also features hundreds of islands, many of which have pristine beaches that locals and tourists alike flock to every year. One of the Seven Natural Wonders of World, the Great Barrier Reef is also a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

2) Raja Ampat - Indonesia

The Raja Ampat islands are an archipelago of Indonesia known for coral reefs rich with aquatic life. With 537 different coral species, Raja Ampat’s biodiversity attracts scientists and visitors from all over the world.

3) Rainbow Reef - Fiji

Nudibranch mollusk. The diversity of these “sea slugs” is utterly amazing.

Hard corals that form reefs are called hermatypic corals. Soft coral, also known as Alcyonacea and ahermatypic coral, do not produce a rigid calcium carbonate skeleton and do not form reefs. The combination of hard and soft corals produces soft coral fish like anthias mixing with a hard coral damselfish.

Manta Rays

The Great White Wall of soft corals stretches down 30 meters and is a popular diving site. It is topped with some of the best hard corals around, with prolific reef life.

Fiji’s Rainbow Reef stuns visitors with its kaleidoscope of bright colors. The reef is a top diving destination for tourists, and is home to hard and soft corals, exotic fish, manta rays, turtles, and sharks. Fiji’s crystal blue waters and stunning coral make it a sight to behold.

4) New Caledonia Barrier Reef – New Caledonia

The second-largest double barrier reef in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage Site New Caledonia Barrier Reef is an example of Mother Nature at her finest, complete with incredible blue waters in varying shades. Located in the South Pacific off the northeast coast of Australia, this double-barrier reef is home to a variety of marine life, many of which are still in the process of being discovered and classified.

5) Red Sea Coral Reef - Red Sea

The Red Sea gets its name from red algae. When in bloom, the water has a slight red color. Its coral reef is over 1,200 miles long, and home to over 300 hard coral species and over 1,200 types of fish.

6) Belize Barrier Reef - Belize

The Belize Barrier Reef system is a UNESCO World Heritage site that provides a significant habitat for threatened and endangered species like marine turtles, manatees, and the American marine crocodile. So far, 70 hard coral species, 36 soft coral species, and 500 species of fish have been discovered in the reefs. Although, scientists estimate that only 10% of all the species living in the Belize Barrier Reef have been discovered.[/spoiler]

Amusingly enough, the Osprey feels like that too. You just expect it to be bigger.

The Air Force Museum is the only good reason to visit Dayton, OH. I guess they have a Sheetz near there too, don't know if it's any good though.

There's some pretty sweet military surplus stores around there. Last time I went to that museum my shitty cousins begged to go to the IMAX instead of looking at real planes, so we did that instead. I really wanted to see the A-bombs again :(
