It's probably not worth it to parse a YouTube comment section that large for worthwhile comments. Especially at this point.

At some time or other, people should realize that YouTube comments are worthless considering constant censorship scrubbing and the fact that the bots outnumber the meatbags.

Its fucking sad honestly,I still remember the golden ages of early-mid 2010s YouTube. I hope it'll come back one day but it sadly seems more and more impossible now. KF seem to be the only site that I've feel like still has that type of spirit left.

Google burns money via YouTube for the purpose of turning people into NPCs.
The idea that "big companies" can pressure Google via boycott is the most ridiculous thing they have managed to get people to believe.
If a big company is not using Google AdSense, the big company is losing a massive amount of money, and for Google, it's just pocket lint.
Google also knows there is no alternative to Google AdSense, they hold all the cards.

I think Synth has simply been overlooked and will be gone off YouTube with the next big ban wave.
He says the exact opposite of what YouTube wants to get people to believe in.

This is a common argument I've seen in Synthetic Man's comment section as well as in the comment section of other right wing gaming channels from leftists.

They say it's silly/ignorant to say modern gaming is political/woke and to then idealize older generations of games as being apolitical or non woke.

For example, Fallout 2, you play as a tribesman fighting the US government (which includes them wanting to commit genocide on the planet's population) which is an allegory for Indigenous Americans vs the European US government. Obviously a right wing or even apolitical developer wouldn't do a plot like this. Tim Cain being gay and left wing is often brought up to reinforce this point too. Other examples of this in Fallout would be the criticism of Capitalism as well as allowing gay relationships in Fallout NV.

Another example, a lot of leftists say GTA San Andreas criticizes police brutality and GTA 4 and 5 has a lot of on the nose left wing political satire that you find on the internet and radio in game for example in GTA 5, they say that Republicans make the US unlivable to illegals don't want to move there.

In Elder Scrolls, Leftists also say Vivec in Morrowind was non binary or transgender

Metal Gear Solid is often brought up in relation to this point as well, the series is overtly political/"woke" yet from the leftists pov the right wing game is oblivious/ignorant to it.

What is your opinion on this argument and counter argument if you have one?
