Retardedly uncharitable interpretation. Offering to remove the major downside of rehab, the exorbitant costs associated, is to disarm apprehensions people hold about seeking help. Even if someone like Nick can afford rehab, they still won't necessarily be willing to put their own money down on it.

What Eric July is doing is putting his money where his mouth is. Instead of paying lip service to "oh, poor Nick! He needs an intervention! Alright, back to our regularly scheduled broadcasting..." he's being proactive in facilitating the road to recovery.

Yea I'll never forget how Dale's "good friend" Frog not only had him on stream, but full screened Dale as he is drunkenly going in and out of consciousness while crying as Frog and co giggle and laugh.

EDIT: Also, for the people only following this thread, one of Rekieta's former friends has been dropping nukes the last few days and threatening with a tell-all.

He has essentially confirmed the wife swapping, the mountains of drugs, Lady Rackets crying to him and telling him Nick is an alcoholic while she was picking up whiskey bottles off the floor, and that Rekieta is a two-faced snake, trading his public blasé "I don't care, I hope you make a million dollars" attitude for angry messages in private.

At some point in the stream, B.A. Turner, author of Vigilantes' Creed, showed up in the chat demanding apologies (presumably from Bahr and DG) on Vito and KatyDid's behalf.

When people started telling him Vito is a self-proclaimed pedo that wants sympathy and legal leniency for pedos and is friends with people that want to legalize child porn, B.A. Turner, author of Vigilantes' Creed, a shit-looking Gargoyles ripoff, went full pedo apologist, claiming there was zero proof, that the Nina Infinity stream never happened and that Vito has never asked for pedo sympathy.

This is the same guy that says he has info that shows why Eric is in the wrong and is truly the bad guy in everything. Of course, he never reveals what said info is. He'd later in A Drink With Crazies livestream (privated or behind paywall now) kept saying he knows stuff and never reveals it. Royce finally called him out to spit it out and BA never did. These people keep acting coy for some reason. It's retarded.

Even EVS before that "out of context" clip would say how him, Malin, and Shane know stuff. But they just won't reveal it. Trying to be coy like they know something? NDA? Who knows. But watching that part of the stream, to me at least, it seemed like Shane talking about what people could make was a separate conversation that had no part in regard to the "we talked to people" bit.

But based on how BA blindly defends EVS in chat and whatnot. BA strikes me as just being your basic NPC follower who also likes the attention/engagement on Twitter (possibly for Twitter bucks).

It's money. I've been watching his campaign since launch, it was sad and pathetic, it closed out at about 4k to print and ship several books and comics. Becoming EVS's attack dog and pedo guard helped him reach 11k. That's all there is to it.

This is truly a very sustainable business model, just look at WarCampaign books. He should keep at it.

Just because Rackets, @FROG, Vito et al. are irredemable assholes that deserve every buttfuck that's coming to them doesn't mean one has to necessarily accept July's move as a good faith gesture instead of a backhanded bitch slap.

Eric has been by far the better man in this two year nerd feud... and I mean by freaking far.

But even the Church has a lengthy, protracted process to accept people as saints.
