This would be very dumb on his part. In Wisconsin, as in many states, if you refuse a reasonable settlement offer and end up not getting more by taking it to trial, you can be ordered to pay the other side's legal fees. Conceivably, you could end up "winning" and still owing the "loser" money.

The only way I could see Pat usurping Rekeita's locked in win is if it does come out he's named a suspect in the murder of Mr. Trammell. I wouldn't put it past the Brothermen to have forwarded a lot of their claims to the Milwaukee PD and they have been slowly building a case against him. The circumstantial evidence does strongly suggest Pat may have done it, but innocent until proven guilty, just allegations, theories, in Minecraft yadda yadda.
