Wow. Gotta say this one caught me by surprise. We all knew Nick was driving the rough road down for awhile but I was honestly hoping he'd pull out of the nosedive before crashing. What a shame, hopefully this is the system shock he needs to start getting things together. Given the info we have, my guess is some sort of warrant was served at the house where drugs were found. I'd imagine the reason for Kayla being booked later was likely because Nick and April were brought in first, and the cops gave Kayla some time to find someone to take care of the kids. As for the charges, iirc its a first offense, and cops throw every charge they can initially so he'll probably be able to plea down most of it with no long term jail time.

All this trouble seemed to accelerate once they started hanging out with April/Aaron, really goes to show you need to be very careful with who you let close to your family.
