Appreciate it Mr. Goodman (I wanted to run this all through the AI, but that was more than I wanted to spend). It really depends how hard the prosecutor wants to go after it, and whether there's anything questionable about how they obtained the evidence they'd need to use. If there's some exclusionary rule thing conceivably he could get off scot-free or at least plead the drug thing to some diversionary program. That's assuming the much more serious gun charges are in there to coerce a plea to the relatively minor possession charge, and that the prosecution isn't going to be a real hard charger on it. It's entirely possible the prosecutor hates his guts and has had to deal with this asshole personally and is gunning for him.
So it sounds like a lot regarding his punishment is dependent on how badly the prosecutor wants to make a deal out of this - just my opinion, but given the situation involves a house with many kids living in that environment, I'd hope for a guy that wants to make that into the point. While completely different state, I'd love to see a guy like the state prosecutor in the Michelle Troconis case that Sean streamed - that guy was a complete dick and made it very well known how much he didn't like the defendant, but hey, she was guilty on all charges.
This is far from over. This has exploded, and I am all here for it.
