The more I think about it, the more I think nick is more fucked than the "90 day rehab" posters want to believe. Nick's main sources of income are youtube/streaming (which he just ruined anyway) and his trust fund. While the courts may go easy on him for being a first time offender, there's nothing he's doing at the moment that comes off as something he just HAS to be out of prison for. His kids are homeschooled but working out new travel arrangements for that is trivial if Kayla is still around.
I think Lady Rackets will get probation or a dismissal but Nick will actually have to spend some (minor, maybe a few months) time in prison at the end of this.

It's both a federal crime and a state crime in Minnesota to be in possession of firearms while also in possession of illegal drugs.

If you get arrested with any controlled substances, having a firearm in your possession also carries charges. A lot of time they will plead out the gun charge to get the guilty verdict on the other charge. It is used as leverage.

The difference between Howard Stern and Dick Masterson is Stern knew how to pick his freaks. It's the fact that he had the firearms in conjunction with the drugs is what makes it felonious. Sure you can have all the legal guns you want, but I'm sure you can understand that the legality of the firearms is nullified by the presence of a giant pile of cocaine. If it was just a drug charge it'd be one thing, but the firearms charges turns this into a whole different story.
