Guys April's having Nick represent her, she probably didn't sell him and Kayla out. It's even odds she's out and the Rekietas aren't because it wasn't her gun, the kids weren't her responsibility, and she wasn't the one with 25G of coke.
She could have gotten a PD and cut a deal. Nick seems too busy at the moment to keep track of two clients, so he could be out of the loop right now.

I don't think this is even legal. That's an obvious non-waivable conflict of interest. Also it sounds like an excuse for him to bully and intimidate his codefendants into some joint story (probably exactly what this fucking scumbag intends to do) and do it with attorney-client privilege.
I thing this is whats finally going to get him professionally disciplined. This is mob lawyer shit.

Serious conflict of interest in Nick representing Kayla. I can't imagine they will let it go on past this initial stage. Example: the prosecution offers reduced time for Kayla if she testifies against Nick. Nomally her attorney would advise her to take this deal as it would be in her best interest. But if her attorney IS Nick, he would advise her to act against her best interest to save his own skin.

Something like 25 grams or more of cocaine or methaphetimine (the statute covers both). That carries up to 25 years, believe it's because a certain amount = trafficking.

Felony level shit, he's marked for the rest of his life.
Lots of felonies have much shorter sentences.
You can kill somebody and the max is five years if it’s involuntary manslaughter.
Cocaine drug distribution is insane.

Something that's not captured in the photos is that Nick is shaking while in custody. Not so much tremors, but seemingly from anxiety.
He should be. I keep hearing on streams that the drug charges are meh, which is sort of true, but gun charges with drugs is big shit. More so for hard drugs like cocaine and meth. Maybe MN is different. Where I live, Nick would be looking at certain prison time, although such sentence can be suspended if you’re lucky.

Their kids are definitely going to be taken from them for an extended time and Nick knows this.

Congrats, Nick. You showed those prudish detractors, that repeatedly suggested you pull up, how truly wrong they are.

Nick actually looked like a pretty legit criminal, the hair, beard, and black eye all really bring it together, also I whispered “kinoooo” to my cat when he requested to speak to two of his “clients”
He looked completely at home with the other criminals and their mugshots. Because he's a criminal.
Extremely satisfying to see the smug finally wiped off his face.
It hasn't been though. That's one of the smuggest mugshots I've ever seen. He isn't humiliated. He's angry. He's wishing he could kill.

But if her attorney IS Nick, he would advise her to act against her best interest to save his own skin.
Thats exactly what Nick is thinking, thats why he wanted to represent April as well but she already bailed the fuck out. He probably wanted to get stories straight and everything. What a snake, this wont be a wakeup call for Nick. He's a total permanent retard.
