This is all just more cult manipulation from Poppy. He’s showing what happens to the non believers. If you betray him or leave, he puts you on blast. Once youre in the poppyverse, you are not leaving unscathed.

They’ve seen what he’s done to Loomie, his own child, Noehflake, Milena, Rayne, Gayfesh, his boss / friend of 20 years, BeyondSafeWords, Kiera, Heather, Dormiyu, the first ex that outed him, and now Allie. The second you say no or disagree you are evil personified and Poppy will use anything and everything to try to destroy you with.

Luckily he isn’t any good at it. And while it’s probably rooted in BPD, it’s mostly the behavior of a fucking psychopath.

It’s why it’s extremely unlikely that any of the hardcore hangers on like Saige, Twisty or Nightwyld will ever leave because they’ve seen what Poppy does, and I’m sure they’ve told Poppy things that they think he could nuke them with.
