Unless he violates his bail terms (he absolutely will violate his bail terms) and starts drinking again, the shakes and sweat will get increasingly worse over the next 24 hours at which point he'll start the actual DTs and seizures. That lasts for a day, then he'll start hallucinating, and that lasts for god only knows how long.
All this while he's detoxing from Cocaine, Ketamine, and Heroin too,
at the same time.
Oh and all this presumably with a house full of booze and whatever nose candy they didn't find in their raid and/or raids.
The BEST thing his family could have done would be to enter his house without permission and discard every single trace of booze they could find, presuming anyone's allowed at what is a crime scene at this point. Because he's a non-functioning addict and absolutely, 100%, will drink once the deets and first seizure starts.
[Realization: He might not even be allowed to go home if it's a crime scene and they want to keep it pristine.]
If he doesn't check himself into a hospital for help detoxing he's a goddamned fool. He's going to need help but with ODD and Narcissism there's no fucking way he'll ever admit it.
