I hate having
The weight was recorded on site and with the containers, which came up as 26.6g - they will weigh it back in the lab, without the containers, and Nick better be praying it's less than 25g. I don't know if the charge can be downgraded after the fact, but if it can, this is a final hope for him or he could be doing the minimum recommendation of 5.5 years.
If the container was just a ziplock baggie, that is probably a forlorn hope.

Nick has to go until August without drinking. He's not gonna make it.
Alcohol piss tests are notoriously unreliable and takes some effort to fail. They say 72-80 hours on them, but I've seen people pass within 24-48 unless wasted. But I guess he's always wasted so I won't be surprised if he fails because he's such a fuckup they'll probably test at least once a week, probably twice.

Quartering today's: https://rumble.com/v4x7mnf-nick-rek...on-for-arrest-50000-bail-may-lose-custod.html

The amount of coke in the house strikes me as notable. It's 26.67 grams, just over the 25 gram charge upgrade in Minnesota. I bet Nick looked up the laws regarding this, bought 25 grams of coke not too long ago and figured "eh we'll snort the last bit before it's likely we'll get caught at all". That strikes me as exactly the kind of thing Nick would do
That over a quarter cup of coke. Holy shit Nick could use American units for his drug purchases.

It's a good thing Nick has a nice nest egg stashed and can ROR with a $50K bond. That would really suck to be a poor, broke, pleb, who has to have probation officer and keep on the straight and narrow for 3 months with random check-ins and piss tests until the next hearing.
Weren't the substance and travel restrictions in place either way? I thought posting the $50k just meant he didn't have to check in and drop urine. I may well be wrong, but that's what I thought I gathered from listening to this whole mess.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone seen what the search warrant was for? A mandatory reporter talked to the cops on the 16th, they show up with a warrant on the 23rd, but what was it for specifically?

I don't know if the cops talked to Nick in the intervening week, or if the initial report was enough to move them. But if they wait a week and have a warrant ready to go yesterday, that's more than an impromptu wellness or CPS check.

Some of the other lawtubers speculated that the cops did some investigation- maybe staked out his house and tailed some of the people coming and going and connected them to a known dealer- maybe they leaned on the dealer and got him to rat them out.

The "Mandatory Reporter" that called it in initially could be from a wide variety of sources- because he's so involved with homeschool groups, there may be neighbors or other homeschoolers that somehow qualify as mandatory reporters, or maybe it was someone who qualifies who watched that last stream. Honestly, whoever called it in may have saved his life and, as horrible as this is for the kids, it's less horrible than what they'd go through if their parents kept spiraling down the tubes. Maybe this won't get them clean, but at least it's a chance they didn't have a week ago, and at least the kids our out of harm's way.

The Lawtube parade as been really telling as to who in Nick's friend circle actually watches his content. None of them seem to know anything about the guy since the Depp/Rittenhouse era when they were all on the stream with him. They all seem to think Nick just spontaneously ended up with an audience of haters instead of it being the result of countless hours of hard work on Nick's part to alienate and piss off every member of the audience that actually cared about his well being, often times with other of members of lawtube sitting there laughing along with him and helping to mock and insult the fans that have been telling him for months to stop and get help. Sean and Andrew were the only two that stood up to him, told him to stop, and then when he didn't dropped him like a bad habit. Unsurprisingly they're also the only two that haven't gone in on the "haters dragged Nick down" spiel, though Andrew apparently has a policy now about negativity in his chat. Every other member of Lawtube was perfectly happy to sit there and laugh along, egging Nick on until he eventually flew straight into the mountain of a Sheriff's Department raid and CPS case.
