Does anyone actually think Nick will abide by the rules of the court and actually stay sober? I wonder how long it will be before we get the next update where he failed a drug test and we see he is back in custody agagain.
I do not think he'll stay sober. With addicts, the safe bet is always failure. Balldo is an addict. Living like an addict, making addict decisions. Balldo is also a contemptible father and husband.

Balldo has every incentive to get his shit together, but it won't be enough because he's Balldo. He didn't do anything wrong, he's still the smartest guy in the room.

He's going to need a whole new category named after him at this stage. The Rekieta Life-Ruination Speedrun Award.
The Kiwi Farms Lolcow Lifetime Achievement Award: The Golden Balldo. I know some of us have 3D Printers and know woodworking, we can mount a golden one on a nicely done walnut plaque or stand and have it delivered to him in rehab.

100%. I'm hoping the extended family get custody for several years at least. If they go into foster care... I really don't know if it would be better or worse.

The youngest kids are suffering more.

People underestimate how young children are affected by shit like this. This will quite literally affect every social interaction for them moving forward, because parents serve as the model for both men and women as a whole. The 16 year old must be suffering, but he experienced a loving mother and father for the first few years of his life. The younger children may never have that. They can get over it, but it takes a lot of work.
Keep in mind all of this was caused by a father who was presumably a loving, law-abiding, Christian father. His children will know he chose drugs and sex over them.

I can't overemphasize how pissed I am at Rekieta. Kids don't need to be around this bulllshit.
Absolutely
And you know he would be using that fact against anyone he was talking about on his shitty stream. He would be throwing it right in their face.
But because it's himself, his hubris will never let him admit how much he has scared them for life.

There is no way that man ever admits to himself what he has done I don't think his ego could handle it.

Him and Crackwhore get into a DV situation and he's back in jail before the Weekend
This is more likely, both of them are sober & once the realization sets in. Shits going to get real.

Nick shows up to get his kids and gets into a DV situation with whomever has them
Depends if he relapses.

Drex turns on him and starts spilling the beans publicly
I doubt it, he mostly fucked off and nick probably got alot of dirt in shit much worse than fucking his proto step-daughter.

Yes, both he and Kayla were charged with child neglect. CPS will be doing their own investigation I assume.
The job of CPS has been made drastically easier by the police search turning up not merely a "cluttered" and "dirty house", but drugs galore and unsecured firearms, too.

I don't pretend to be familiar with whatever state's law is involved, but some things are considered child endangerment pretty much everywhere, and this is definitely in that ballpark.

Is there some family member who can have the kids? Where did the kids go when both their parents were taken to jail? They had to go somewhere and have some adult in charge. Were they taken into foster care on an emergency basis? That is a shit experience for any child.

I don't understand the firearm charge.
Is Nick already a felon?
Having firearms and ammo in your house isn't illegal, I have over a dozen and hundreds of rounds (more probably, I reload I have buckets full) of different calibers.
Did he have guns and ammo laying around where the kids could get at it?
Or did he threaten the cops?
EDIT The alarm clock is cute and all but it doesn't answer the question :story:
This thread is moving faster than Keffals used to and some of us have to work too.
Federal 4473 asks if you are a current drug user, and if you are, you are denied a pew pew.

With the recent chamge of weed to a more lenient classification, medical weed users are fine.

Nick had stuff much harder than weed.

Four concurrent Rekieta features. Powerful.

Check out what the TV Tropes page for The Dick Show lists him as.

Think this page might just be a little bit out of date.

He should have stayed in jail, that would probably have been the easiest way for him to stay sober.
His ODD would never allow him to. He was one fucking step away from going full sovcit on the judge.

It's illegal to merely have guns or ammo if you're committing a drug crime. This is likely unconstitutional, but it's on the books today.

On a scale of "it's over" to "it's just getting started", how we feeling?
Eh, I mean it depends on your perspective. There's no real chance of him and Kayla getting 25 years or anything, but jail, prison, or probation with lots of strings are not out of the question. Probation is probably the most likely being first time offenders according to attorneys grifting off the case. So, not super ogre for them legally. His brand his fucked harder and than it was before.

Nick's attitude throughout the whole thing makes me think we're just getting started. We can get a divorce arc, the bail violation arc, the CPS investigation arc, a stream to Correct the Record. I mean, the possibilities for him to further blow this up are wide and varied.

I"ve given up on the thread - accepting any and all clip dms, links/timestamps whatever. I'll get caught up eventually, probably

I'm listening to Sean cover the probable cause documents and I'm horrified. Those poor children

edit: I don't even know what I'm listening to anymore. corrected
edit to also add: the thread grew 2 pages in under 5 minutes can you stop
