The kids are almost certainly not with them in the house anymore, right?

I don't know all the deep lore, but doesn't Nick have some sort of trust fund daddy's money situation?

Can't he just spend the money to go hide out in a rehab to sober him up? The expensive resort kind? I would imagine it would look good for his case and help keep him from fucking everything up. This is assuming he's willing to go to a rehab.

From everything I've seen he's been drinking too much to just stop without medical involvement, not to mention the other drugs, but the DTs can just outright kill you.

If he's just back at his little filthy druggie house with people who also do drugs, I mean.... that's a 99.99% fuck-up rate. Not to mention that it kinda looks like Nick wasn't cooperating with the cops but the woman maybe was and maybe was telling them things. And then they're supposed to go back and live in the same house together? That's just a fight waiting to happen. What a nightmare.

Honestly, it's not actually that bad. Dirty clothes on the floor, dirty dishes, and dust? That is slob stuff but isn't really neglect. Plenty of non-drug addicts live in the same conditions. It's more so evidence that they fired their maid so she wouldn't see the illegal drugs as opposed to actual neglect.
Absolutely not. If law enforcement mentioned it, then it's bad. In fact, they will most likely use it in court if need be.

Rekietas kids: dadddyy nooooooo

Now that anime lawyer is jailed, maybe he would be willing to sell me his house, it's pretty sweet.

This shower is so large and nice, I could spend hours calling @Null on the phone. Maybe tell him about some people posting wrong information and stuff. No reason, just to chat ha ha.
Gas stove with no ventilation? Unless I'm missing a downdraft.

Probably high on fumes too.

Pay the money, OR don't pay the money and be a good boy.
That's what I heard too, repeatedly, and saw, but lawtube seemed to think it was both.

$50k to be able to get drunk and high again, or pay nothing and risk violating the terms. Would be a tough call for a non-addict, for an addict?

Regarding the feature:

An order for release has been signed. At this time, Nick and Kayla Rekieta still appear on the jail roster, but it has not been updated in a few hours. They may both be released or they may be trying to figure out which option to take in terms of conditional or unconditional bail.

"50K? I spend more than that on art every weekend! I'll hit up Gay90's for a reup, you find somewhere we can offload these kids. We're gonna party all weekend babe!"
:really:

So Kayla and April were in the home, refusing to answer/entry to the cops to the point they rammed the fucking door down and the dumb bitches couldn't get into the safe to dump the shit down the toilet (or take the chance and shove the bag deep into a container of ground coffee to avoid detection by drug dogs?)

Diazepam treats alcohol withdrawal symptoms. It doesn't treat nor is it a cure for alcoholism. One day scientists may find a prescription cure for alcoholism. This isn't that day.
I know. My brother is an alcoholic, he's had to be weened of alcohol in hospital with Chlordiazepoxide many times. They give it to him until his body is no longer alcohol dependent, but of course, it does nothing about psychological dependence on alcohol.

The Kiwi Farms Lolcow Lifetime Achievement Award: The Golden Balldo. I know some of us have 3D Printers and know woodworking, we can mount a golden one on a nicely done walnut plaque or stand and have it delivered to him in rehab.
Every year, The Golden Balldo is sent to the winner’s address with a handwritten letter by Null and an Amazon Gift Card for $25.

The job of CPS has been made drastically easier by the police search turning up not merely a "cluttered" and "dirty house", but drugs galore and unsecured firearms, too.

I don't pretend to be familiar with whatever state's law is involved, but some things are considered child endangerment pretty much everywhere, and this is definitely in that ballpark.

Is there some family member who can have the kids? Where did the kids go when both their parents were taken to jail? They had to go somewhere and have some adult in charge. Were they taken into foster care on an emergency basis? That is a shit experience for any child.
The word from April's soon to be ex is that Kayla's parents live in the area and have the kids.

I want one just to put on a shelf. Expand the Kiwi collection into actual objects. lol

Federal 4473 asks if you are a current drug user, and if you are, you are denied a pew pew.

With the recent chamge of weed to a more lenient classification, medical weed users are fine.

Nick had stuff much harder than weed.
Yeah that makes sense. I've never been busted with drugs.
Never had the cops search my house either.
Nick just keeps eating shit huh?
Should change his second name to Bate at this rate.
