It seems more likely than not, but until I see an actual document explicitly stating exactly what happened, I have no solid opinion on the matter, and neither should anyone who hasn't seen such a document.
But even with the $50k cash bail or bond, there is still gonna be a good behavior clause in your release. They always have stay straight and sober elements. He's just not being subjected to the random pages where he has 45 minutes to show up at the Sheriff and piss in front of a large burly man.

But!

If the worlds greatest legal mind puts up the $50k. Then goes on a booze and blow fueled bender hours later on a livestream, he'll get his bond revoked, get tossed in jail, and lose his $50k. Granted doing this would likely cement his reign as lolcow supreme.

Because the $50k isn't paying a fee to allow yourself to party. It's putting the risk of you choosing to party on you. So they don't have to follow you around to directly maintain your goid behavior.

It took a mean motherfucking servant of GOD to do this. Not that simpering Spagghetio serving fag.
I'm reminded of Psalm 82:3-4:

"Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

This servant of the LORD hath laid down the law.

the thread moves so fast, so if this has been answered im sorry for asking.
for you junkies and ex-junkies, can i ask, is it common for user to keep drug scales? as a non user id associate those with dealers, they weight and measure out the drugs to sell. but someone just using them wouldnt be weighing out their drugs after they bought them and got home with them, would they? just seems odd to me that he would have drug scales if all he did was use and not sell.

it's not a disgrace, but it compromises his position and potentially his ability to help others in the future.

like, now people in his congregation know that this guy will potentially rat you out to the cops if you tell him bad shit, so they will be more inclined to keep their guard up.
the next time someone in his church decides to go down the road of balldos and dope, they'll take extra care to keep it secret from that guy in particular.
even if his name wasnt mentioned, knowing how things go in small town churches i can guarantee you that the congregation either knew or would have suspected the pastor.

"he told me if i dare touch his stuff he would do terrible things to me, i was scared for my life, i was scared what he would do to the children, i saw no way out, i was terrified..."
really not hard to spin this in a way that gets her off lightly (if he is willing to take the fall)
The prosecutor has to give a shit. What is better than one conviction and one junkie in a rehab program? Two. You act like the DA has never been lied to before.

And the police also tried to get me on a F2 claiming my drunk ass snuck schedule one drugs into the police station... That they brought me to in custody. Also that 25 gram threshold is so close it'll get plead down.

Point is we don't have the facts and I wouldn't be surprised if they're throwing whatever they can at the wall. Also the justice system is much more lenient than many think. Nick is a drunk retard but we have to realize them blowing up this family with 5 kids is probably more destructive than letting them keep the kids.
Yes, it can be very, very variable. That's the problem with the legal system, they can slam or let go based on almost nothing, no law. Just on how they like you or not.

But. He's a celeb and multi-charges and has pissed off the legal guys there? I suspect more slam. The judge did let him go a bit easy, so on the surface he may not be screwed totally.

I suspect he'll screw himself up by violating and pissing them off more.

It's not just arbitrary with probation to 20 years usually, the legal system is aggravatedly complicit in giving different punishments based solely on who you know or how you dress, present yourself, and so on.

Nick isn't doing well on that so far.

someone just using them wouldnt be weighing out their drugs after they bought them and got home with them, would they?
Not a junkie but even serious enough potheads will have their own scales to make sure a dealer isn’t ripping them off. * Whether that’s what Nick had a scale for I can’t say

It feels like they've been coaching the kids on how to best protect the parents.
It’s not even to protect parents. It’s everyone in the property. Saying the police can’t enter is smart. The dumb bit was Rackets losing a doir after he was shown a warrant. At that point let them in, you know it’s real.

I temember being taught not to talk to police without a trusted adult there as well

It feels like they've been coaching the kids on how to best protect the parents. The "juvenile female" knew to refuse to allow the police in, and someone has to have taught them that behavior.
Teaching your kids not to talk to cops is the best for them and yourself. Unless you're a drug addled piece of shit.
Cops aren't trustworthy.
