for you junkies and ex-junkies, can i ask, is it common for user to keep drug scales? as a non user id associate those with dealers, they weight and measure out the drugs to sell. but someone just using them wouldnt be weighing out their drugs after they bought them and got home with them, would they? just seems odd to me that he would have drug scales if all he did was use and not sell.

even if his name wasnt mentioned, knowing how things go in small town churches i can guarantee you that the congregation either knew or would have suspected the pastor.
Anything expensive that is useful in small quantities can benefit from a precision scale, when I do spice blends, sometimes you need something in the order of 0.05g (I'm thinking things like saffron)

So I assume that if you take drugs that would reach full effect at a small dose, and you want to make sure you stretch what you have, it'd make sense to have a precision scale for that.

The prosecutor has to give a shit. What is better than one conviction and one junkie in a rehab program? Two. You act like the DA has never been lied to before.
the DA gets a big and juicy multi-felony guilty plea from nick in exchange for letting kayla plea out on some minor misdemeanor drug shit.
alternatively both could take it to trial and sing their song to the jury, which would be a much more uncertain outcome for the DA. if kayla plays the role of battered and abused stay at home mother of five children and blames it all on nicks terible and domineering influence, there's a good chance that a jury will eat it up.

Yes, it can be very, very variable. That's the problem with the legal system, they can slam or let go based on almost nothing, no law. Just on how they like you or not.

But. He's a celeb and multi-charges and has pissed off the legal guys there? I suspect more slam. The judge did let him go a bit easy, so on the surface he may not be screwed totally.

I suspect he'll screw himself up by violating and pissing them off more.

It's not just arbitrary with probation to 20 years usually, the legal system is aggravatedly complicit in giving different punishments based solely on who you know or how you dress, present yourself, and so on.

Nick isn't doing well on that so far.
Given how the judge has history with Nick, she's probably less being charitable towards him and more giving him the noose to hang himself with.

a.) What are the chances Nick was trying to buy MDMA and ended up getting stiffed and getting Ketamine instead?
It's really common to get ketamine or meth instead of MDMA because those drugs are a lot cheaper and easier to make than E. Also, the people you are selling to a lot of the time can't even tell the difference. It's like the movie Go where she is selling them baby aspirin.
If you're buying ketamine on purpose, it's either going to come as a liquid, which you either boot or cook yourself, or most commonly as a powder, for snorting. Taking it as a pill would be a waste of money because it would feel a lot weaker.

Ask this in the godwinson thread. He
1) Is a junkie
2) recently streamed on Rekieta
3) has a slow-enough thread for this to get picked up

Think it’s a consequence of just how much coke he kept around and likely mixing in the ketamine, would wanna make sure you don’t fuck up the amounts.
