The House Armed Services Committee adopted an amendment in the annual defense policy bill on May 22 that, if cleared through Congress, would force the Pentagon to rehire U.S. troops who were fired for refusing a COVID-19 vaccine.

The measure was adopted late on May 22 by lawmakers on the panel, who marked up and advanced their version of the annual appropriations bill, authorizing a defense budget of $849.8 billion.

The 2025 bill, titled the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act, will serve as the base text for forthcoming debate as it makes its way through Congress.

On May 22, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), who offered the amendment on rehiring veterans separated under the vaccine mandate policy, confirmed its adoption.
During the debate, she said the measure would direct the Pentagon to develop a strategy to recruit from among the thousands of servicemembers who “were made veterans overnight” under the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

“This amendment seeks to address the loss of skilled, experienced personnel who were willing and able to serve their country and overcome the resistance of the Department in recruiting from this population,” Ms. Mace said ahead of a panel vote.

No, Marxism is a weed; you fail to kill the root and it will just come back. You can't educate people as to the badness of it because it's a Gibs Me That ideology. Responsible, hard-working people are carefully cultivated to be wary of gibs, but the natural state of people is to want gibs.

Now, in fairness to Marxism, the reason why it exists is because of the excesses of capitalism. And no, I do not give a shit about the distinction between free market capitalism and corporatism. One comes about as a result of the other due to Monopoly mechanics. No one starts off or has government powers in Monopoly because that's not how markets work. Whoever can McDonaldize their company the fastest is the one that becomes the monopoly and the vaunted competition Free Market analysts talk about just fight it out over second place. So, it is necessary to regulate markets so they don't go fucking nuts.

So the whole thing about Monopolies being illegal is, what... just a rule nobody follows anymore?

because that would explain why lately companies have been buying each other out left and right.

Anti-trust laws are just laws. Monopolies can be totally illegal but who can do anything if no one breaks them up. At least these days Live Nation is under fire. Curious to see how that goes.

Yes, no one follows those rules. It certainly isn't because market forces make monopolies inherently unsustainable.

They are just double dipping like they used to do instead of going all in like 2020. If you read the article it makes it clear only the CEO supports Trump and not everyone else at Blackstone. Larry Fink and Blackrock still backs Biden.

This is just to purchase infiltrators in a Trump administration just like they did last time.

Technically it’s legally possible for a white person to be a victim of a hate crime for being white. Yet no lawyer wants to risk career suicide and ostracism to take that on. So those cases die off or get tossed. If laws actually got enforced the border would be sealed up tighter than a snare drum. No reason to think that provision would ever get taken seriously.

You're asking the wrong question, it is irrelevant if the military can be fixed when it is inevitable the govt will fucked the military within a year or so after fixing it. It have been the same song and dance ever since the American War of Independence ended and the new U.S. govt let the military fall into shit. Que few years later the govt had to build new navy ships to deal with the Babary Pirates and later rebuild the army during the War of 1812.

What isn't yet mentioned is the U.S. govt despises the military and the people because they're the greatest armed threats to it. As the govt never forgotten that line about the "When governments fear the people, there is liberty" when said govt absolutely wants their subjects citizens to fear it.

An extra layer to MAGA needs to be stop with the charity to places that do not respect it or deserve it. This will need to come to a head with confronting the faggot jesuits and gay southern baptists who think they're doing good wasting parishioners money on these things, because it will end with losing people who are actually worth saving in the world. It's a nasty, hard truth, but there is next to nothing worth saving in Haiti. You will make the world a better place mowing the yards of the elderly in your subdivision or painting a neighbor's fence.

I'd rather send the odd missionary off to martyr himself overseas in the third world (and yes, possibly do some good there, my cousin is a missionary, he's weird but he believes in it, whatever) than just do the lazy liberal thing, write the third world off as unfixable and then import the third world, then force everyone to take care of them. But I'm a cost/benefits kinda guy.
