you would just use direct burial cat5e/6.
the bigger problem you are not thinking about is how you power whatever you are putting on the other end. you can run poe, but usually that limits you to one device per run.

but what i assume the wigglers plan is is just run everything off of cellular, and that might work with one phone in testing but they are going to suck the cell network dry if they are trying to stream like 8+feeds, plus the wigglers will just be on there phones the whole time too sucking up even more bandwidth.

only way i can see this being successful is if they hang a few big sector antennas on the edges of the area pretty high up, and have to run poe ethernet runs to them, but at 10 acres you cant run ethernet at those lengths reliably, unless you have power and inet nearby multiple edges of the property.

at work we have had to build a wireless network for concerts and light up multiple gates/entry points over like 30 acres, and that was one hell of a challenge, and it was in a campground with power and buildings all over the place we could use to hang antennas. no way the wigglers get anything up and running without hiring someone.

i just cant wait to see how bad they mess this up, im actually excited to see how bad they can mess it up. i feel like that is most of the comedy at this point, just hope we get to witness something other then static.

I also think the wiggers will go with cellular. The companies will notice pretty quickly and throttle them, leaving the only option to buy an extremely expensive plan to use the cellular network for streaming video.
I know some news companies do that, and I can't even guess what that costs, if they even let you get it.

If they don't get someone who knows how to install cables and set up the routers, then this will end in complete failure.

if they do try and go the cellular route there best bet is to rent a cow(mobile cell tower) from the cell company.

they would need some form of internet at the site but it would guarantee they would get good coverage and consistent speeds.
but we know the wigglers are allergic to planning and crypto geniuses so they will figure it out themselves.

Forced bee stings to check for allergens feels very on-brand for them.
Allergy testing sucks. They coat a tiny needle with allergen serum, and then they lightly scratch your back. The scratch doesn't hurt at all, but if you test positive you'll develop something like a big mosquito bite on your back. If you get a whole panel, you can have like 20 of those bumps on your back. I have never been more itchy in my life. If something so innocuous as pollen can cause me that much discomfort, I deserve to have been weeded out of the gene pool generations ago.

sidenote: Its nice seeing fishtank chat regulars around the farms. makes me feel like the farms is a proper community.

Jet quickly deleted the post but it appears a soda machine is placed to provide them water, assume its only zipp water.

here's my prediction of what's going to happen with that machine:
  • it will be run with a generator, operating as normal for a few days
  • the generator will either break or run out of fuel, the wiggers not figuring out they need to refill it
  • Sam will start kicking and punching it as a joke, breaking it further
  • they will give the contestants a hatchet and a quest to open the machine
  • the front will be cut open, and at least 2 people will be injured in the process
  • Jet will then get upset and scold everyone for breaking the machine because now they can't get their money back for it
  • begging fans for money to replace it
Call it

I am really looking forward to this and hope the wiggers can pull it off.
Hey Jet,

I realize I told you to "Jet it up" in a teasing way, and I might have come across as a bit harsh. But, seriously, you're a cool cat.

Now, hear me out on this idea.

After checking out AirsoftFatty's cabin, it struck me that Fishtank doesn't necessarily have to be indoors.
Picture this: setting it up in the middle of the woods or an open field, surrounding it with a fence, and swapping out rooms for makeshift shacks and tents.

Introducing Fishtank3: Homeless Camp Edition.

You might even consider bulldozing a few of their shacks in the dead of night, just like in "They Live."
That would definitely create some compelling content.

Consider this idea a gift, Jet. Love you, and keep being the cool cat you are.
Thanks for listening Jet, you rock.

Greg has been raising money as a channel goal, $600, to fly to Michigan to visit TJ, Taylor, and Brian. Last time I checked he was about 80% of the way there when someone pointed out Taylor wasn't even aware of this plan. There were some rumors that both Abi and Greg are banned words in her chat due to them encouraging their fans to spam raid messages, to leech off her higher viewership.

Anyway, some people confronted Greg and he said she knew about the plan and that it's no big deal if she doesn't want him to come, he'll use it on something else. Which is a bit of a scam, using their names and "clout" to raise money for Greg to spend on something irrelevant to them. He said he would do Texas instead and visit Trish, Tay, and Tai there again without asking, though.

Worse yet, Taylor is now confronting him with evidence that he lied on stream about her giving consent for him to visit

What's funny about this is it's not like they're arguing about whether or not she is available on a particular date. The argument is over whether he is welcome at all. To which the answer is apparently no. Ouch.

I wonder why, I think she's warranted in blocking him because he's been annoying but a blanket, No Visiting Us Ever seems crazy to me. She sounded into it in theory, is it because he formalized it without permission or what?

edit:
he's now banned from her chat

He's currently live talking about how yeah, he never asked anyone's permission. Abi's in his chat, like a fly to shit.
"Now I feel like a creep. I would rather Taylor didn't make the biggest deal out of it but I know what i did was wrong. Now I'm all stressed out about it.
I made a really stupid decision and I don't wanna be called out for being a creep just because I was really stupid about it. I said that me TJ and Taylor were gonna do something streamwise on the big donation goal cuz I thought that I had the go ahead with her giving me the airport, it was kind of implied it was cool for it. But maybe I should have done more planning on it. And tj and taylor live together so it was one of those things, where if i see them I could see them all together. It was a matter of a "package deal," but I should've been more thorough about it. i'm a sporadic guy. I'm trying to be transparent about it, I dont think taylor is wrong for feeling weird about it but I still wish we could have kept it secret because people make assumptions. I'm pretty sure trish is down but I won't make the same mistake and I'll plan it out."

edit: more

Someone told him while he's live that she banned him and his face dropped. He says he thinks Taylor is hanging out in his stream trying to make him "seem like a creep" and is blocking her everywhere for "taking him out of context"

Taylor deleted everything about it. Twitter was unanimously on Greg’s side, I didn’t see a single person saying he was in the wrong. I can understand why he thought that was the plan when she told him what airport to go to, I don’t know why she would if he didn’t want him there.

The quest menu is now active on the fishtank website.

"Pay to give us ideas we can use on the show and convince other people to throw money at us for nothing." It's pretty pathetic but I can't blame them, the Sam fans are morons looking for a hole to throw money into. I think these cash grabs are good for quick money but bad long term. They're basically trading good will for cash and there's a lot more cash than good will.

Greg is clearly in the wrong here and I don’t know why people think otherwise. He lied twice on stream: first by saying that she said “ok see you soon” in DMs and second by saying that she was down for it after she said she didn’t want him to come. I can understand thinking this should be private but when someone is using your name to make money off something you didn’t agree it makes sense to publicly bring it up.

I don’t even know why Greg is trying set this up with Taylor. He should have talked with someone like TJ instead because Greg and Taylor have never even met each other. It kind of seems like he just wanted to set this up because she has a much bigger streaming audience and than TJ or Brian.

Greg actually used to be a mod for Taylor’s chat but he got demodded because he kept banning people for making fun of him in her chat.

Because in the Fishtank world Greg is seen as le epic freeloader who saved the show while Taylor is not. Whether he’s in the wrong (imo he is) doesn’t matter because the fanbase likes him more. Happens on and off the show with different Fish depending on their popularity.

Greg absolutely did help salvage the last part of season 2. Nothing "le epic" XD about it. The show was stagnant and his autism and nativity made it slightly less shitty.
