1. Traffic stop Nick
2. Try to enter the residence with the search warrant, get rebuffed by a child
3. Try to get the entry code from Nick, he refuses
4. The police kick in the door
5. They bring Nick to the residence and show him the search warrant, he throws it on the floor

Maybe they showed him a copy of the search warrant during the traffic stop, but if they did, it isn't detailed in the report.

I have zero sympathy. I've been in an even worse situation with a literal gun pointed to my head and managed to deal with it without tarding out completely. "Do you have a warrant?" "No." "I do not consent." Cop literally cited "exigent circumstances." I guess they teach them that in cop school. I was still able to negotiate the cop just sticking his head in and looking around.

It was basically a swatting situation but completely inadvertent. The cops had a legitimate reason.

Anyway, in this situation, you do not act like a fucking dick. You calm the fuck down and deal with it.

A thought just crossed my mind; the reason he chose to represent himself, Kayla, and April, why he wanted to move shit along quickly, is because he needed to get back to the house ASAP. He probably did have secret stashes and needed to get back there quick as fuck to get rid of it, before the cops could find it.

After they found almost an ounce of coke there, I wouldn't be surprised if the cops quite literally tore his house apart while he was locked up looking for more. That's more than enough to get a Judge to sign off on.
