I'm super late to this because I didn't have the time to read your whole post (pretty good), but I gotta ask-- A Nuzlocke PMD comic? How would that even work? The appeal of Nuzlocke is that "oh shit!! the trainers send the pokemon to die FOR REAL" and it's kind of gritty because of that. But PMD has no trainers, so what's the point? Surely if you made a PMD comic with serious stakes, it would have death in it by default, no?

From what I recall, the comic isn't amazing beyond the AGPs. Of course, this is coming from a male perspective and it felt very female, so opinions may differ. I also last read it years ago and it hadn't gotten far past the AGP stuff at the time.
