I SUSPECT its due to the people who have wronged him. The people jim used to be friendly with that turned on him like ralph or sargon their turning on him never really impacted him and just generated him more views than anything

Jim never had to go through the shit josh did, not a knock on jim since his cross to bare is his illness I'm just giving a description of their situations, having to flee the country and get banned from payment processors and being targetted by the entire internet infrastructure for his niche gossip site so *think* that's partially why josh has to have a far stricter view of these things IE with Juju. Also josh getting burned the time he did try to legitimately help, like Chris chan, probably sticks in his mind as well hardening his heart to these fuckups cause he's personally seen it up front. At some point you get the empathy burned out of you for these self destructive ingrates.

What's interesting with rackets is that both jim and josh have the perspective of someone who is seeing someone who basically handed a golden life on a silver platter, and in jim's case the life he always wanted with a loving family with kids, just burn it all down for coke and coom.
I saw that too, you could tell there was one of those slips where you see “the real guy” and Jim talking about Rackets having the “win condition” it obviously fucks with him that another guy got it and was ungrateful for what he had.

So, Jim mentioned three souls taken away by Magi-Chan: Chris, Gunt and now Rekieta. He's forgetting the other Nick, I swear that Nick Fuentes was also afflicted by the demon at some point. Academics, please respond, I haven't been following the catboy mexican child savior of the white race for a while so maybe I've been mistaken.
Not sure about Fuentes, but worth remembering idubbbz got one as well:

Too soft, Nick ruined his kid’s childhoods.

That way he talked to the one that entered his studio? I gurantee that was everyday in that house, don’t talk to Dad cause you don’t wanna set him off, don’t talk to Dad cause he’s busy with the strange woman, walk lightly cause you don’t want him to hear you cause he’s strung out and be careful his moods are swinging. That lack of care, and the knowledge that their parents didn’t care will hang over the Racket kids forever. An uncaring father might not do the same damage as a physically or verbally abusive one but it will haunt them, it will creep back in constantly.

Nick and his junkie bitch deserve the worst.
just gonna repost what i said in the rackets thread on this as I mostly agree but I think Jim made the best choice he could with those last thoughts as
i think jim knows this but is trying to use whatever sliver of clout or respect he might have had with rackets from their history to do a last ditch "hail Mary" effort to reach out and get rackets to wake the hell up. I think his final statement in that euology its clear he has the kids and family at the top of his mind cause that's the kinda guy jim is when you peel back the troll persona. Its optimistic as hell and probably won't work but jim's a sweetie.....

For this, we lack the critical element of the transference mechanism. Gunt witnessed the arrest and the Demon jumped to him. Rackets wore the amulet, he spoke the words, they came. I do not believe we know of a vector by which this could happen for Fuentes.

This is not to say it could not be, but we do not know of the means.

I think the other factor here is that Jim at this point is in so much pain, that it puts a lot of things into perspective. He's at the death's door, he has no future and he has no kids. He laughs because he has no power to do anything else, but at the same time he wishes no genuine harm onto the people he laughs at(most of them, anyways). Both Ralph and Nick were his friends at one point, but the difference between the two is that Nick made something of himself, Ralph hasn't. Plus, Nick has kids and wife along with him, if Ralph wants to ruin his life he has nobody else to take down with him, other than whatever prostitute he is paying at the moment to pretend to be his senorita. It's in everyone's best interest for Nick to pull up, even if that's pretty much impossible now.

Truly he is "Daddy Jim" to the bitter end. Any insults or death threats run off him like water since they pale in comparison to just the daily pain he has to deal with at this point, so that speech at the end makes a lot more sense from that point of view.

I feel the same way Jim does. Rekeita was kinda sorta one of us, yet at the same time was on the very brink of being mainstream. If, like me, you knew of him from years ago and watched his coverage of the Rittenhouse trial, but only heard stuff second-hand after that point, it's hard to even imagine how he's managed to sink this low in this amount of time. Jersh's gradual acceptance that this is who he is over the course of many MATI episodes was sad, but even still the recent revelations are disappointing
I watched him from when he first interviewed Tonka and all the way though the vic lawsuit and its genuinely like he's a different person. If it wasn't for the periodic updates from the farms and MATI the past week would be incredibly shocking but having seen him flounder for the past two year when he had so many people on his side trying to help made this feel inevitable and killed all my sympathy. There where so many points where people tried to get him to pull up and he just brushed them off as prudes trying to stop his fun, but now the funs truly over and he has to deal with the all the consequences of his actions, as he used to say "play stupid games win stupid prizes"

yeah this is the prime thing that made nick's downfall and destruction of his family and loved ones with him hit harder for me than ralph and has had me post more in racket's thread than I have for any other lolcow ive followed on this site. Funny too cause I never really followed rackets much outside of his rittenhouse streams since I'm not really into law stuff. I did like the killstream back before ralph's downfall, like I listened in every day at its peak as, afterall, you never know what's gonna happen on the killstream!

people like ralph or pat tomlinson, they may have kids and a wife that they hurt or let down and I can get all moralizing about it but at the end of the day you never really expected it to go differently. Like no shit ralph abused his kids cause he's a drunk xannyed up white trash POS always has been. Looking back even when ralph was the top of the sektur his flaws were glaring even if it takes 20/20 hindsight to see it. Pat abandoning his daughter is a garbage thing to do but what did we expect? pat's always been a irresponsible shortsighted loser with nothing to offer but angry tweets.

Rackets? Faaar different story. Had it ALL. Started with EVERYTHING. Loving family, wealth, natural charisma, semblance of a moral compass, creating an entire genre of youtubing, etc. His whole world had his back as it were. As pointed out many times nick not just had all that but he could have taken it to the NEXT LEVEL and go down as something for the history books if he had just applied himself.

It hits much harder seeing his fall from grace compared to others and frankly makes me incredibly MATI to see this dude who was handed EVERYTHING on a silver platter, some things that many would flay their skin to get a TASTE of in this life, just throw it out for cheap worthless pleasures. As funny as the downfall is in many ways when you sit back you really can't take too much joy out of it when you ponder what could have been and what now never will be.

Rekieta was always a grifting shit, Metokur is wrong on that. And he was never anywhere close to getting a tv deal, he had enough on his rapsheet to prevent that.
maybe, but then he was a grifting shit who did at one point strike gold, a one in a million lottery ticket of circumstance and if he had stopped and recognized what he had and just applied himself he *could have* manifested that if he really wanted. But I guess the point is he didn't. He saw everything he had as something he was simply entitled to without any hard work and even ended up resenting what allowed him to "make it" in the first place and instead squirrleed himself away in self indulgent drunkstreams and cokestreams.

shit man you could write a Shakespearian or greek tragedy about rackets lifestory.

He got where he got because of the Vic stuff but Vic is obviously creepy (at minimum) and given that his lawsuits failed that was never going to pass outside of the internet.

In our economy I don't think any of that background would have really mattered. I really think that if nick had focused on the gold he had struck during the rittenhouse trials and just run with that he'd have never had to be an actual lawyer again he could have been a law equivalent of Dr Phil or something using the charisma and pull he used to have. He wouldn't even have to give unscrutinizable legal takes or anything just like how Dr Phil's show isn't really professional therapy. Nick could have taken that format, that winning formula, of just being the host and letting the panel and whatever topic of the day is do most the work for him. The only work he would have to do is set it up. Its like how Eric july has a successful comic business despite not being much of a comic guy himself but a good businessman.

Not to say there's a 1 to 1 correspondance between july and dr phil and nick but I really think that if at Nick's peak, regardless of his baggage and how he got there as much of that would have been overshadowed by the successful position he had found himself in, he had an opportunity for *something* IF he had played it right. I don't know exactly what that looks like but there was *something* there that could have manifested if he really greased his elbows and worked at that *something* for once in his life.

But again I guess that's to your point, he never DID work for anything, he always was just a lucky grifter instead and fell back into that laziness and grift and self indulgence when he was done being on top and successful in lawtubing.

and that's what brought him to this point and why whatever that could have been never will be and will only exist as speculations by retards like me on a gossip forum.
