Kabosu, the Shiba Inu known for the Doge memes, has passed away at the age of 18. https://bnonews.com/index.php/2024/05/kabosu-dog-behind-doge-meme-died/

Morgan Spurlock, best known as the director of the 2004 documentary Super Size Me, passed away yesterday at the age of 53 due to cancer complications.
it is an entertaining documentry, but too bad it is very very flawed and the result are skewed when you know that he is drunk off his fucking ass.
That he never relased his food diary is also sus.

I remember when I had to watch that documentary in middle school during health class. Informative, but also immensely disgusting.

On a side note, there were leftists on tumblr bitching about him and his documentary because they wanted to stay land whales lol

At the end of the day though, it’s a movie about a guy eating nothing but McDonald’s for a month. And he STILL manages to be somewhat healthier than ALR or Foodie Beauty.

RIP Richard Sherman, the younger half of the Sherman Brothers (along with older brother Robert 1925-2012), the songwriting brother duo responsible for the songs in many Disney movies, most notably Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book (they also wrote the songs for a few non-Disney animated films like Snoopy Come Home and Charlotte's Web, plus "It's A Small World (After All)" at Disney parks), who has died at 95.

I'm hoping my local rock station will play the song on vinyl. I'm sure they already got a ton of requests to make it a vinyl cut after the holiday. It's a very long song but they did that huge Allman Brothers thing when Dickey Betts died.
Yeah, at least the Simpsons, long before they become Zombie Simpsons, did a tribute to the band. :story:
