I used to feel sorry for Kayla. I saw her as an emotionally fragile woman who is being taken for a ride by a husband who's going through a midlife crisis. I could understand why. Kids were born when the problems started getting bad. Nick likes his kids, cares for his wife still and thinks it will never come to serious problems. And then they manage 15 years together. Problem is, issues and problems have a way of breaking down a person slowly over time until it just all blows up.

I don't think he likes him, he's going softer because Aaron is probably watching or people will send him clips. Essentially, if you want the guy on the show first you don't have to scare him away with comments previous to the show.
