yes exactlyAs I've pointed out, this particular judge has in fact made some remarkably intemperate and imo outright improper comments about people like one of Nick's own clients. I generally have a higher regard for judges than a lot of people here, but they're human beings. If someone has viciously hurled vile slurs against you in public, you may try not to be prejudiced by it, or believe you aren't prejudiced by it, but unless you're some kind of inhuman robot, it will have an effect on how you think about and react to that person in the future.
she probably won't consciously think "hm this guy insulted me, i'll give him an extra year to get back at him, hehe!"
but it is unavoidable that his behavior will influence her impression of him, which in turn influences her decision making in the case, no doubt about it.
