A little late with this but I hate watched this video just now and my god, if any of you want something to laugh at for three hours - that's it - you could watch the new Dune or maybe an epic like The Godfather but instead watch a fat soy boy rant for three hours about YouTubers he doesn't like. He even calls Nick Crowley problematic for his content (one of the more inoffensive YouTubers in this sphere), the entire thing is just insanity and really sad if you think his videos were once good.

I always knew he was cringe since the Lovecraft trans thing but this video is entirely mask off of him being a vapid little narcissist - even his arguments are spewed in such a condescending way it's hard to even try to give him the benefit of the doubt. It'd be a skill to watch this video and not find him ridiculous by the half way mark haha

I think he's referencing The Thing on the Doorstep? Haven't read it in a really long but I know it's about a really old French guy with mind-swapping powers who when the story happens to live inside of his young daughter's body (who's actually his great great granddaughter or something like that).

That's the only thing I can think about, although in that story and in the Providence adaptation it's only a matter of convenience -- he only acts like a girl to hide his true identity and isn't all about wanting to be a girl or anything like that. Plus in Providence he swaps bodies with the protagonist and rapes him inside the girl's body so there's also that other trans representation for ya.

This is not surprising, i even mentioned this channel before for going this route. I followed him because he made some decent videos about EC comics but then every new release after that got traction he progressively injects more personal bullshit and self pity that is not relevant to the topic, along with dumb leftist political tangents. Is like watching someone slowly turn into a cow in real time, literally each new video he increased the ammount of faggotry until it now engulfed his entire content.

This time i won't even bother watching it, 3 hours about "conservatives BAD, me SAD" is more than i can take even if it is to laugh at the retard, i just gave dislike and unsubscribed. The return dislike extension is not super accurate but it seems the dislike ratio for this is pretty high.

I don't remember which video, might have been the one about nicholas cage, he goes into long ass tangent about him being an artschool reject who some pro comic artist told to go fuck himself and he never got hired for anything then proceded to "poor me wah wahh wahhhh" for like 40 minutes. He is just a frustated little goblin and since he got a bit of success on youtube it went directly to his head

I'm so fucking tired of this new media literacy meme. I KNOW it started on tiktok because zoomzooms and middle aged white women are now using it. I will admit that I am the type to constantly complain about movies being this or that and irritating the person who is watching it with me, but after hearing people complain about " WHY AREN'T YOU ACCEPTING THE MESSAGE?? THE M-E-S-S-A-G-E OF WHY WE NEED MORE UGLY BROWN PEOPLE IN SHOWS " I immediately learned to shut up and let my mom watch vapid horror films knowing damn well that I just like dumbass splatter flicks and have no reason to talk. In a way, I sort of understand it as you feel like what other people are watching film fast food, but honestly these people are so exhausting to listen to and it makes you reflect. What people don't understand is that old movies were movies first, lessons second.

Honestly nowadays they don't even hit as hard because they never touch on anything ACTUALLY worth talking about. They Live is a smotherfuck consumerism movie yes, but at least it still rings as very true and Hollywood will NEVER touch it again because it'll persuade people to not buy slop- I mean.. 4K UHD blurays and subscriptions of 3 hour softcore interracial porn- I mean progressive stories made by poor poor million-dollar champagne socialists. People like this are more terrifying than horror movies because they're so irrepairably broken by the system that they want to be lectured and spanked even when watching escapism.

From what I remember from reading the thread during the initial uproar over the game, the incest scenario is one of a couple endings in the game and supposedly there is no overt incest throughout. But like... why even include that?

This is why most horror stuff sucks so bad now, everyone wants to do these boring safe horror videos/games/whatever but no one wants to actually do anything that might upset a single person or not conform perfectly to the YouTube algorithm. To them anything that has naughty words or bad stuff happening without layers of annoying hidden meaning is bad. Anyone seen The Boiled One Phenomenon? It's nearly impossible to find the original video and when you do, it's nothing to write home about. It's basically an SCP/Mandela hybrid that not even the creator takes seriously and yet there's already a Film Theory video on it.
